Genuine curiosity....why hasn't Adisyn Coffey gotten a serious look? I don't know much about him but seems he had a great year in the minors last year and in brief looks in spring. Yet he just doesn't seem to be in talks for the roster. I know he's 25. I'm just curious if anyone has anything else has info. Again, don't know much about him.

I think this team was being crushed under the weight of the "worst team ever" last season in the 2nd half. I think there might be an early season bounce in performance just not playing with that weight. I think they flirt with .500 here and there in the first half before ultimately plunging mid season. And a second half bump from Schultz, Quero, Colson callups might provide some fun. It's probable to see wins in the 60s but if a lot goes right they could approach 70. If all goes wrong mid 50s. I'm choosing optimism at 70 W's. Commence throwing trash at me.

I realize it's not realistic but I'd at least consider it. Teel, Quero and Lee with them rotating through Catcher and DH. They've been very high on Teel this spring and he and Venable seemed to have forged a bond. It'd be much h for fun to watch for what it's worth.

Well we did that the last two seasons and it worked out great! God forbid we establish roles and allow our bullpen to find a semblance of a routine.....more dumb s%*#.

Whomever said Meidroth isn't there yet I agree. I very much wanted him at 2nd opening the season. His eye is great but his hard contact isn't there. I'd very much like our opening day catching tandem to be Teel/Lee. When we talk about vets taking young at bats to me that is Thaiss. Id like to see more Quero too. If Quero/Teel don't break with the club I feel they'll be there by June at the latest.

Generally I'd agree with you. But they're getting drilled everyday and look horrible in the process. Even in spring a win or two breeds positivity and individual success.
