  1. Lambert looked very good today.
  2. It is true that JR is very loyal and often provides a soft landing spot for fired employees. My guess is Coop's offenses are considered worse than just got a little outdated.
  3. Most pitchers could take a cue from Buehrle and pitch at twice their current pace IMO. They over-think the process.
  4. By the end of TL's first tour of duty with the WS I was glad to see him go. He was big on slowing the game to move a fielder a step or two over left or right in what seemed small potatoes to me. Little did I know he was a trendsetter for the massive shifting in today's game. I think many on this board will be surprised at just how aware TL is with today's game. Trust me...he is an analytics guy.
  5. I agree...when healthy Adam is a very good player.
  6. Disagreement has nothing to do with the ignore option IMO. Some posters just ruin the experience of discussing the team.
  7. Our staff seems like the perfect fit for Katz. I haven't heard a negative word yet.
  8. His constant rule changes are ruining the game. I support getting calls correct with replay and would like electronic balls & strikes. Seven inning games and the man on 2nd for extra innings is just pure crap. The need to speed the game might work for the occasional fan...but I will happily sit through a 14 or 15 inning game. If it's past your bedtime...go home.
  9. It wasn't easy to win the award but I agree with you..."worst commissioner ever."
  10. We all know this...and yet it's hard to not care.
  11. No worries...but hard to believe this lineup is being shut down like this.
  12. TL will get that ironed out. Tony gets after the little stuff that is annoying. His fielders throw to the correct base as another example that some managers never get right but Tony does.
  13. Very insightful !
  14. I believe most of us will see that TL makes baseball decisions more in line with our own individual thoughts. If you are playing...it's because he sees you as the best choice he has. His lineup decisions will be interesting and will change as does player production.
  15. I was actually poking the tiger in jest. Madrigal is one of my favorites (as most here know) and I was taking the opportunity to point out that little sparkplug guys often get things going. Noone on this site has seen more Spring training games than me. I am well aware they are meaningless.
  16. Our offense has been lifeless. Sure glad Madrigal starts playing tomorrow. Need some small ball energy to spark the team.
  17. I love this pitching staff!!! Almost as good as the offense. What a year this could be.?
  18. I would like to showcase him for the two-weeks Vaughn needs minor league experience wink-wink. He will be worth something when NL goes with the DH someday.
  19. I do like the sound of that...but seems a bit like bragging.
  20. Can Reylo be fixed by Katz... is one of the interesting storylines of Spring Training IMO.
