  1. If nothing else, we are good for what ails you towards an opponent.
  2. Stomach is churning from seeing those OBP's. Has the game changed that much?
  3. Wild guess here that JR didn't want to pay the top two of the pitchers dealt whose contracts were up so he used 3 1/2 games out as an excuse, thinking no one would notice. For a smart guy, he's a world class moron.
  4. Hit a grand slam that was overturned as foul just last week.
  5. There are reasons that neither of them has managed or coached, that I know of.
  6. With the movement on his sinker and his velocity he should have been better than he was. Blame coaching. I do.
  7. Closer? Didn't have one before, don't need one now. Kidding aside, you're right on about sorting out the chaff in these last two lost months.
  8. I think you have this bass ackwards.
  9. Maybe Jerry will go Charlie O. and take over the GM duties himself. Couldn't hurt, might help. ?
  10. Not that I'm not one of the sharks circling the sinking ship, but much of Hahn's failure is attributable to injuries and player regression. Throw in bad managing and coaching too. But his bad talent evaluation gets the grand prize.
  11. Are we sure a second opinion wasn’t done?
  12. Two on, two out, two strike count and 101 at eye level. You try laying off. Not that you're wrong, but it was a great bait pitch.
  13. Happens once in a hundred times a guy is traded.
  14. 43% vs. 36%. That settles it. Case closed.
  15. He clearly wants to be here. ?
  16. 29th isn’t a bad neighborhood judging by some of the other teams near us. I know, they have good MLB teams.
  17. Embarrassing if Frank knows what Eloy does pregame and what he should be doing. If Frank is assuming, not embarrassing at all except to Frank himself.
  18. Anyone notice that Sheets made the most of his declining play time? Nice catch in RF and barreled up a few balls. Repeating myself, he's not a terrible RF. Cease throws too many pitches. I know, it's not exactly a revelation. Can't say Katz fixed him until this is fixed.
  19. Ozzie buried him. Too soon for me, although god knows what went on behind the scene.
  20. Wish he could have hit the breaking ball. Hawk thought he was the total package. He had a nice year at AAA so he can't be counted as one of those we've ruined by rushing.
  21. What team will it be for?
  22. Front court size and rim protection are also lacking. That's a lot of deficiencies. You wouldn't know who constructed that roster, would you??
  23. Smart as you can get, good. Baseball genius, good. No nonsense guy, good. Never could relate to younger players, not good.
  24. Apocalyptic talk aside, they need a body that can take the ball every few days and Mike Mayers is exactly that. Overanalyze if you want, but that's good enough for me.
