Who is this team’s LVP (Least Valuable Player)?
1. Rick Hahn and 1A. Tony La Russa, these players didn't just show up here out of the blue on their own. Bottom line is Lynn ($18.5M), Grandal ($18.3M), Moncada ($13.8M), Pollock ($11.0M), Graveman ($8.0M), Kelly ($8.0M) and Garcia ($5.5M) have a combined net fWAR of 0.0, and all but Grandal and Moncada were signed/acquired between July 2021 (Lynn) and Opening Day 2022.

Yes, but they also claimed to have begged Robin to stay in October 2016. I believe Robin entering into the 2016 season as a lame duck was more of Robin wanting to GTFO, or at least wanting another six months to think about it, than a lack of interest by the White Sox. His October 2016 "offer" could have just been a smokescreen to allow Robin to save face, but I'd go with Robin really didn't want to return, and looked like he didn't want to be there, perhaps for his entire tenure. Tony may feel he has had enough after this year and will tell JR to wait and see about his health when they get to October 2023 before announcing anything publicly. I don't think even Jerry has the balls to publicly announce he extended Tony after this debacle. They would just keep it private. I don't see Tony leaving his managerial role in October 2022 (outside of legitimate health or family considerations) unless several of the team's veterans came out and criticized Tony publicly, saying they need a new manager and additional coaching staff changes. Jose is all you would really need, but it goes against his personal nature. I can see several players beyond Tony's Cronies (Liam, Lynn, Kelly, Leury) coming out with long knives for Tony. This would expose Tony, as he stated several times including last October that he does not consider returning unless he has the backing of the players. Most of the public and media would back the players in this battle/debate. Players would win in either scenario, either by purging Tony or getting traded elsewhere and leaving this sinking ship with better future financial and competitive prospects.

If they extended Hahn and or Tony at any time between October 30, 2020 and today beyond 2023, would you expect them to announce an extension this October, or just play it out and say nothing until at least October 2023? If Tony and or Hahn are going into a "lame duck" season in 2023 (or whatever is the actual final year of their respective contracts), do you believe Jerry would allow either to go in as a lame duck without at least a one year extension? Similar to the one year extension Hahn gave Ricky Renteria in October 2019 for the 2021 season.

Bill Veeck is the only White Sox Owner who won more pennants than expected based on the number of teams he competed against. Beyond breaking out Charles Comiskey's ownership separate from his children, he is the only owner of the four groups who have a positive contribution to White Sox Baseball over 120 seasons. Meanwhile, Jerry Reinsdorf and Family would surpass the Comiskey Family's ineptitude for worst ownership group in the history of the Chicago White Sox if they continued to own the Sox through 2032 without the Sox winning a second pennant. Expected American League Pennants vs. Actual American League Pennants by Chicago White Sox Ownership: +0.281 Bill Veeck (Actual Pennants 1, Expected Pennants .719) -1.400 Pennants Arthur & John Allyn (Actual Pennants 0, Expected Pennants 1.400) -1.890 Pennants Jerry Reinsdorf (Actual Pennants 1, Expected Pennants 2.890) -2.625 Pennants Comiskey Family (Actual pennants 4, Expected Pennants 6.625) Methodology: Minus 2.625 Pennants: Comiskey Family (Charles 1901-1931; J. Unfortunately the sawdust balls only seem to be impacting White Sox hitters, who rank 26th across The MLB in that statistic despite playing at Comiskey Park II. White Sox pitchers have given up 135 HRs, also the league average. 17 teams haven allowed less home runs this season. The home run differential of minus 29 coincides with the run differential of minus 42. Rick Hahn's personal batting coach selection of Frank Menechino, plays a role, if not a big role in this unfortunate set of circumstances. Tony La Russa also agrees with the small ball approach, but Hahn brought him in October of 2019 and is responsible for this approach to hitting.

The Sox aren’t flushing their 1/4 CSN ownership down the toilet to chase down some hillbilly 30th tv market in the country. Las Vegas and Portland will also offer horseshit TV revenue. Montreal is the most viable city and baseball is not returning since Canadians aren’t building these billionaire fat cheapass fucks free stadiums.- 8.28 Snakes @ Sox Fire Everyone Gamethread - 1:10PM CT, NBCSC

As it deserves to be. Tony was always horseshit with the Chicago White Sox, took advantage of steroids and coasted off of superior FOs when Jerry placed him in Oakland and later in Saint Louis. He still fucked up two of the three Oakland World Series despite being heavy favorites.- Sell the Team
