Why not, it’s in Joe Kelly’s 2023 deal.

“I used to be cruel to my woman, I beat her and kept her apart from the things that she loved. Man I was mean, but I’m changing my scene, and I’m doing the best that I can.” White Sox Baseball, It’s Getting Better All The Time ?

When you miss 100 games a year, refuse to DH, you are not worth the squeeze. People here quibble about Tim Anderson or Yoan Moncada being "injury prone" starting 80-90% of games across several seasons. The Sox would kill for Eloy to play 80% of White Sox games over a full season. -
Joe Crede lives in Missouri and is a Missouri Tigers Baseball Season Ticket holder. I believe most if not all of the ambassadors live in Chicago. They attend corporate functions at the ballpark and elsewhere. My favorite Hawk call in history is at the 7:32 - 7:50 mark, specifically 7:48-7:50 "JOE CREEEEDEEE!!!!" Didn't hear it live because I was at the park a few rows away from where it landed.

Eloy claims he is a LF, and he demands playing LF when the planets are aligned and he is healthy enough to play in LF. Not tonight. of course, but perhaps later this week or month. 54, 37, 30 - Games Eloy has played in LF the past three seasons.

2006 was disappointing coming off the World Series, but that team won 90 games, just ran out of gas. It would take 200 or more games played for the 2022 White Sox to reach the 90 win mark. -

I would add Eloy and his 53 games played to that list. His juice is not worth the squeeze. -
You can't responsibly carry a platoon DH who can't field a position in modern baseball with a four man bench. If he is playing RF for the Sox in 2023, than this next offseason will also be a complete disaster. if they move Eloy for SP, and don't resign Abreu, and get two actual corner outfielders who can field and hit, than it could possibly work. That is a lot of moving pieces, and I don't trust the Sox FO to make all of that work.

It's hard to put the capital funding standards of today vs. how MLB owners operated in the 1950s-1970s. CBS, a supposedly smart corporation, dumped the Yankees for chump change (several million dollars) a couple of years before Bill Veeck saved the Sox from a move to Denver. The Tribune paid double, still chump change, for the Cubs several years later, and Reinsdorf paid about the same for the White Sox that same year.

He's the worst GM in baseball, and he was among the worst three GMs in baseball every year in his tenure. This includes 2020 when he won that ridiculous GM of the year award in the garbage lockout 60 games for signing Edwin Encarnacion, Dallas Keuchel, Yasmani Grandal, Nomar Mazara, Gio Gonalez, Steve Cishek, and his lone trade deadline move with two available starters heading into the playoffs was Jarrod Dyson. -

Kenny already said he is not renewing when his contract expires. It's not public, but I believe all three (KW, RH and TLR) are signed through 2023, unless RH and or TLR received an extension last offseason. Grandal has been raking in Charlotte and will return tomorrow. -

What subject(s) do you teach in Texas, Texsox? Also, do you eat chili with meat in it? -
I hope Jerry bequeaths him a lifetime Windy City Limo service worldwide after a full retirement, and severance of all services from the Chicago White Sox, immediately if not sooner.

The one built to face the Robert Taylor homes. The one filled with Reinsdorf's beloved Dodgers Blue Seats. The one they took significant taxpayer money to rebuild the upper deck and replace the Dodgers seats because it looked like and was complete and utter garbage. -

Jerry would threaten to move the team yet again in a heartbeat if he could get a better deal elsewhere. The Cubs spent hundreds of millions of dollars of their own money, not Chicago taxpayer money, to buy and build in the area around the park, and upgraded the stadium. They are vested here because they spent significant money to stay here (vs. move to Schaumburg). Whoever ends up owning the controlling stake of the team will threaten to move the team again unless they are handed yet another taxpayer funded stadium. Believe that is why Mellody Hobson was brought in, to put a more sellable face and background to the scheme than yet another carpetbagging Reinsdorf. -
Rick Hahn brought in Frank Menechino prior to Tony La Russia’s DUI or hiring. Rick Hahn protects Frank because Rick saw what Menechino did in Miami and wanted the same results in Chicago. No other GM wanted these results and for good reason.

Jerry Reinsdorf is from New York and grew up a Brooklyn Dodgers fan, which helps explain the Kimbrel for Pollock trade. Jerry planned on moving the team to Tampa, if taxpayers didn’t pay for the garbage stadium he demanded. -
TLR/Sox express "anger" after getting swept
South Side Hit Men replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Sox fans around in the 1970s remember this act well. ”Mr. Fegan, don’t make me angry. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry.” Narrator: “Tony La Russa is believed to be dead. And he must let the world think that he is dead, until he can find a way to control the raging spirit that dwells within him.” -
