Doyle has been an automatic out lately. I hate Will’s obsession with splits, regardless of the players involved. You just don’t pinch hit for Peters, one of our best hitters now, to replace with an automatic out as Doyle. 😢 No doubt about it.

And Vargas?

Mune stint in the IL hurt. He lost momentum and has been worse since. IMO.

Or bat 2 nd instead of Mune.

Doyle has replaced Drew Romo as our automatic out.

Agree. He should be moved down in the lineup maybe to 6 th., until he pulls out of his slump. It would be less pressure on him as well. IMO.
