I just have a hard time believing any more any lineup with Pierre and AJP and Morel and Dunn is ever going to win anything. Those 4 guys are pretty miserable hitters. They are abysmal hitters. I'd find a way to dump all four and work from there. I'd add Beckham and Lexi to the list, but they can get good in a hurry when they are on hot streaks.

I've got to vote for this year. Seriously, I've never seen such poor, pathetic baseball. I don't even think that's an exaggeration. Since the nice 7-4 start, nobody can say with a straight face they've witnessed a more horrendous display of baseball on an almost daily basis.

I know it doesn't matter in this day and age, but can you imagine being Reinsdorf paying these guys the kind of money he's paying them and getting this in return?? A no hitter at home when the team already knows everybody thinks it is horses*** and it's time to start playing? Adam Dunn? Way to earn that money, sir. And many many others stealing paychecks. I know it doesn't matter in the world of baseball in which the Sox still make a ton of money, but what a world we live in where a guy can make 14 million a year, do nothing and have the bosses just yawn. Oh, he'll come around eventually.
