I have concerns about KW because after getting Alomar and Everett he was insisting we were still in the race. I want to see a story where KW takes the blame for this shipwreck since the loss of Maggs and Hurt.

Are we simply anemic without Maggs and Hurt or did the team quit on Oz? Our effort of late has suggested we are a pathetic baseball team right now.

I think Guzman at ss and Johnny Damon and re-signing Maggs would cure our ills. And try to tinker finding a Gordon like reliever. Seriously, this is all it'd take. Guzman and Damon, plus a reliable reliever as long as we re-up Maggs. Dat's my take.

Oz's best move this season was moving him to ninth in the order. Is Joe still down there? I haven't been studying the boxes as closely as when we were playing decent baseball.

I agree our pitching is not a lock to be dominant. I shake my head though at your statement, I think we should let Maggs go in the offseason, no matter whether he wants to sign a 1 year deal or not. It's time to turn the page with him. Why is it time to turn the page with Maggs?? He and Frank are proving we NEED their production. Who the hell do you want to replace him?

KW can no longer acquire underachievers hoping for "lightning in a bottle." Nor can he convince Sox fans our team will win the division by "default." --Great point. Does anybody know why we didn't resign Gordon? Tom Gordon is a stud and we had him. KW is not the answer to rebuild our team.

It means nothing to me. We quit or simply didn't have the talent to contend after Frank and Maggs got hurt. This coulda been an amazing season.

I always liked Jose and still do, but .215 is too low. He either tanked this year or is losing his skill. .215 is clayton-like.

I'd rather have Gload than Everett, but I might be a moron in thinking that. I trust Oz. If he thinks Gload is a Mark Grace clone, I hope he's right. Rome said a good thing on his show today. How come GMs never take the blame? KW made the move to get Everett and Alomar again and that move sucked. He got no suitable fifth starter in the offseason and we remained pathetically slow on the bases. p.s. I've give up on my boy, Jose V. Hitting .217 in the bigs doesn't cut it.
