Poor Sox are scuffling. This year can be called the year of the injury. Whatever the Sox do the rest of the way is gravy. Even Timmy has missed a few games of late, Grandal, the list goes on including all the early-season injuries and Madrigal before he left. ... I still say team has potential to get white-hot in postseason. We shall see. ... I'd love to go 6-0 vs. the Cubs too.

I have a feeling we are gonna see a postseason star in Kopech. Save this prediction. Used properly in the 7th and or 8th if needed, he's going to dominate maybe (knock on wood to avoid possible jinx).

Good luck figuring this team out. Anything can happen this postseason. Sox could play like they did in the Field of Dreams game and be the darlings of the postseason and win it all or they could pull a Minnesota and bow out right away like the Twins always do. It'd be nice to win it all since the team won't be taxed physically since it is running away with the division. Guys should be ready to roar in postseason. With the 7th, 8th and 9th locked down on paper, all it will take is 5-6 runs a game to roll.

I hate posts like 'worst loss of the year' when the game is not over. Glad I'm not that kind of fan.

That would be neat if Vaughn got really hot and finished with 25 homers. I realize he's got some work to do, but 15 isn't half bad. Anybody else getting the feeling it's the same ol story for the Sox (and most teams). If Abreu, Robert, Vaughn and Eloy and Grandal (even Timmy) hit HRs the Sox will be the story of the postseason but if they don't the Sox will bow out early. The team is in place to win now if the team hits HRs and if the three relievers excel. Would be nice if we had a warm weather postseason, too.
