Do all teams talk about "resting" players as much as the Sox do? We've been doing it on this board since Ozzie's Sunday lineup days. This rest thing is overrated. Play your top lineup every fricking day and give a guy a day off once every 2 weeks. Sox are a walking injury anyway no matter how much rest they get.

When the Sox tanked they stunk for a long period of time. How long are the Cubs projected to stink? How many seasons will they be under .500, .400?

If this keeps up in almost all big cities (carjacks, senseless beatings), people would and should MOVE OUT. Letting people out without bond, failing to convict is reprehensible. If you are a gang member, I just bet you they have organized carjack weekends, weekdays. It's so easy. Just carjack. You will get away with it. Something is going on in America; for whatever reason, radicals don't want crime prosecuted and it will bankrupt all big cities eventually. Anybody who lives in Chicago right now is crazy, IMO. Same with New York, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, many cities. Peace out. And stay at home as much as u can. America is not safe right now IMO.

Serious question not trying to flame. I really wonder and want advice. ... I usually/always get the flu vaccine in late September. I've heard the Shingles 2 shots are vital cause Shingles is NASTY. I have taken 2 doses of Moderna and they say boosters are on the way. "Common sense" tells me if I get all the vaccines ... that's a lot of "stuff" cascading thru my body. So ... flu shot? I've heard nothing about the flu the past 12 months? Shingles? Booster? Wat's a person to do? Get all vaccined up with all of 'em or ?

All good broadcast teams and Chicago sports have had great ones for a long time, have periods of conversating. Most teams have complete homers who spend the whole game being cheerleaders and boring cheerleaders/ticket sellers at that. I realize our guys are homers too but traditionally they've also told it like it is. Hawk told it like it is; Stoney does; Jason is good leading in that direction. Farmer, rest his soul, and DJ also told it like it is and Kasper is respected as well. I think Sox fans could get used to Beckham's voice if that's the problem.

I like him. He loves baseball which we all do and he's into it. One problem is he pronounces a few words in an annoying manner but you can get used to it. I don't like Len's nasalness for instance and DJ can be kind of monotone. Give me Jason, Stoney and a side order of Bacon and I'm good.
