La Russa is doing a good job. Part of baseball is beating bad teams and somehow win when key guys get injured. Keep it up, Tony. Make some of us critics look dumb. Nice to win both games of the DH today. Negatives so far: Throwing Yermin under the bus. Conceding that one game by putting in Marshall. Positives: The team's record.

Facebook is OK for family photos and updates; Yes some political loudmouths on there and some very rude people, but not "that" many cause family members usually come to the rescue to save family members unduly attacked. Twitter? Twitter is the scourge of the earth. People with fake names for the most part tearing apart those who tweet with their real names. Twitter is a bad, bad place with really no redeeming qualities. Oh it might be good to get a sports update as soon as it happens. Big deal. ESPN.com and mlb.com could serve that purpose. Twitter? Ouch! it's bad.

A devil's advocate would say it was pretty effective disruptor for their first attempt at world wide bio-warfare domination and you ain't seen nothin yet when Round Two hits. Those making the assumption the virus was man made may have a very wary, disdainful view of China and/or Russia. People criticize the USA for many atrocities whereas some feel as if China, while ruthless, is not getting its atrocities talked about enough (kissy relationship with NBA and other businesses that want to do business with China). Just giving the devil's advocate side. p.s. Did USA officials ever figure out who hacked the pipeline yet and why?

Looks like a good draft pick by the Sox. Good little hitter. Seems like the kind of guy who is only going to get better and be a guy that gets on base at a productive clip. If he can stay healthy he should have a nice career. Not everybody has to hit 20 home runs. He's going to be a better than average second baseman offensively and hopefully average defensively.

Some say YES and the next one will be the big big big one now that they know they have the power to do it and the power to maybe just release something in America. It would help to fire all the umps and start over if they could. Umps are a really bad collection of employees. They don't care about the good of the game. They care about power. They won't speed up the game; they won't call a strike a strike. Very sad. The man on second base rule is dumb. The 7 inning games are very dumb in DHs. Pitchers simply can't go deep in games. No pitchers will ever make the Hall of Fame in the future. No pitchers from this generation and future generations will ever make the Hall of Fame again. Relievers simply can't sustain excellence. Starters can't go deep in games. W/Ls don't matter any more. Baseball is very very boring right now. Hitters work the counts deep then either strike out, hit a HR or walk. Shifts are insanely maddening and dull.

I care. Baseball is dying. 3:15 is too long for 11 measley hits and a few walks.

I just saw it took 3:19 to play a 4-0 game with 11 total hits? Good luck baseball. Baseball is about dead with anybody under 50 they say. I can see why. 3:19??? There were seven walks to go with the 11 hits. Wake up baseball. Boring!

Of course some people believe that. Some people believe China and Russia are up to no good regarding their rival, the USA and regarding possible world domination. I watch some Australian TV and they have given up on the USA as a superpower friend who will help them if China ever attacks. They say we are no longer a superpower, in fact, we are behind China, Russia and N. Korea. Of course some believe we have enemies. Will I give my opinion? Heck no I won't discuss such issues .... not in 2021. EVER.

All stores in my town here are still requiring masks. I haven't been in one without the requirement on the door. This area, people don't believe the CDC guidelines. They are acting as if we're still in a lockdown basically. Most fast food places only drive thru. Barber shops, dentists, all still with the mask requirement and weird check in policies keeping you in your car a long while. The fact the country is loosening requirements even though tons of people haven't been vaccinated is strange. There doesn't seem to be much concern the anti vax people will catch COVID which is why I get skeptical about how serious a problem COVID ever has been. I mean shouldn't the CDC and Joe and Kamala be concerned that just 58 percent of the country's peeps have had one shot? With all these unvaxed people out there, you'd think the spectre of them all catching COVID and needing hospitalizing would be as great as ever. This is all weird and with no elections on the horizon for a good while I'm always tempted to wonder how much politics factored into stuff this past 15 months. Just talking out loud. I still am vaxxed and masked.

Companies that make people work 60 and don't pay overtime are despicable. Kudos to you.
