The Sox are a weird team. Has Santiago ever pitched a game as good as this one? This has got to be a career highlight.

If Britt Burns had won Game Four vs. the O's the Sox were a lock for the WS with an automatic Game Five home victory behind LaMarr Hoyt. One of the biggest chokes in Sox history not scoring one run in 9 innings and losing in 10 on the Oriole homer.

I used to be like you, but got jaded because of our bizarre penchant to blow games in the wildest of ways late in the Ozzie era and all but one year of the Robin era.

Hawk already sounds a bit deflated. I wonder if he's getting sick of being the "road game" announcer. I would think only broadcasting road games where the team has blown chunks under Robin would grow tiresome. I'm no broadcaster but I would think home games have more pizazz for the announcers. p.s. However as a rebuttal to myself, Hawk just mentioned his grandkid's home run today which means he probably is having a blast seeing a few of his games rather than none.

Now that Trump picked a chump, you just know Hillary is dying to pick a woman to be her running mate. I'm sure she's just a tad bit torn however. She's probably not wanting to push her luck going with an all female ticket. My prediction is she'll do so, however. She knows Trump is weak and has no chance in hell of beating her. I'm sure she'd much rather have a female pal in Washington to shoot the breeze with on a daily basis the next eight years rather than some gruff man. My guess is she's dying to pull the trigger and name a fellow female but a tad scared SOME members of the public might freak out and be afraid of two women in charge. Is Warren on the record saying she won't accept a Veep bid?
