  1. Once the team is different and a sell off happens, then what? Do you all then hope Hahn gets fired and JR keeps the team here or dies so we can endure another rebuild? I got my game in, but will the rest of you limit your games and commit to not buying memorabilia to take a stand?
  2. This. He sounded like an out of touch owner and old man when the issue was raised at the end of season press conference. He didn’t want to talk about the past and didn’t want to talk about how to set things right in the future. If I were a parent of the top draft pick, I would want to know things like that are over and steps would be taken so it wouldn’t happen again.
  3. I mean, they could get a good draft pick at this rate if these results were to hold up. But it’s not like the NFL and this team has so many needs. I don’t want them humiliated, I want progress. I think retooling will actually help and am not a fan of another rebuild. If Hahn gets fired then I can be on board with more changes than retooling. I just don’t see him getting canned.
  4. Yeah, but it’s useless. Does it make everyone feel better to point that vitriol at him when there’s no action taken?
  5. People who want change here better stop pouring money into the team this year then.
  6. And yet the vitriol continues to go at Hahn. It’s pointless. Not going to games would be a better idea.
  7. A Bears whacking after Grifol was hired doesn’t make sense, but a new GM with the same manager doesn’t make sense. But then again, it is Jerry Reinsdorf. We’ll see. I don’t know if he had a choice, the front office may hold him in high regard. But maybe he falls out of favor after this year.
  8. And what result will actually happen? Realistically what will the changes be at the end of the year?
  9. As I read these threads, I’m thinking to myself, does anyone actually believe that Hahn or Katz will be let go? It’s the White Sox.
  10. Hey Paul Sullivan, keep peddling your season is over articles. It’s doing great things on the diamond!
  11. I’m not sure, it’s just annoying to need a streaming service to see the game. You can try for free and then you cancel or pay the fees. It’s fine, I just turned Len and DJ on. If anyone sees a replay of the Robert double play, I’d love to see it. Len’s call of it was probably better than the TV call.
  12. Boom! And that’s a White Sox winner! Games on Apple+ still suck!
  13. Adam Shaheen (baby Gronk as some said). I wanted to see more of Ridley but I also wondered if I wanted that because of what I saw with his brother and how much they lacked talent at wide receiver. They need to hit on these picks and have some of them become long term starters. One draft won’t fix everything, but it makes subsequent drafts easier if more players pan out.
  14. I agree with that and thought they were so close to sweeping them if they could have either brought the runs home in early extras or if they were better in RISP hitting during the 9 innings. I still am optimistic that they can right the ship in May with their upcoming schedule. If they start taking series after series, things could look different compared to how they are now. Do I think they could fall flat and continue on April’s track? Absolutely. But I am one of the few who still am optimistic about the possibility of turning this season around.
  15. Thanks, the gamecast just said Alberto came in and Burger was out with two outs.
  16. And it’s a White Sox winner!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Don’t call it a comeback ya’ll!!! It’s a motha fuckin winning streak! It only took some execution in ten innings and a flurry of roster moves!
  18. Yes we can and should. Be a fan and celebrate a win.
  19. Does it make sense for Robert to ride the bench for another game or two so Haseley can play, or no?
  20. They should play him until he is cold and sit Robert until that happens. At least the guy from AAA looks like he gives a s%*#. I wasn’t sure how I felt about them celebrating at first but then I saw some relief from the guys who still give a s%*# (Vaughn, Jimenez, Haseley and Andrus to name a few) and I was happy for them. I was about to go shower and had my towel in my arm and my hand on the power button on my remote. I couldn’t bring myself to turn it off knowing they still had a chance and after sitting through last night’s disappointing and deflating loss. Although many of you have given up, hate Hahn and are frustrated with the team, I do see some bright spots with some players sometimes. It makes me wonder where they would be if Anderson, Moncada and Hendriks all played throughout this losing streak.
  21. I guess. We will need to wait and see what happens when JR dies. Moving the team wouldn’t be what the fan base wants, selling it to a new owner who wants to keep the team here would be. I guess New York would be different from Chicago since we compare more to the Mets and the Cubs compare more to the Yankees in terms of popularity. That is fair. What becomes of Soldier Field? What happens to the A’s? Which city would take on a franchise like the White Sox? There has to be fatigue with public financing if the Bears need any in Arlington Heights, Soldier Field renovations aren’t paid off and one of the stadiums remain vacant. If they move out of the state, I don’t think I will support them as a fan like I do now. I don’t think I could become a Cubs fan, their culture doesn’t suit me.
  22. Would this franchise actually move though?
  23. I was thinking about what JR could do and how fans would react to firing Hahn, making KW oversee the team and make moves until the end of the year. Then they promote Getz. How would that date around here if the general consensus is to want perspectives outside of the organization?
