    Wii

I haven't played that one. I just got the DS the other day. I bought Club House Games (seemed fun and I knew the wife would love it, and she does), Hotel Dusk, and am playing my sons Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I've decided I enjoy the gaming aspect as long as they are the puzzle type games. My daughter has a decent amount of games. I'll be stealing her Nintendogs soon.

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jan 3, 2008 -> 07:39 AM) Is that the Rayman game? I was looking at it but decided against renting it. My daughter also wants to play it on her DS. Yup. There is also a sequel now, which I have not played yet. The sequel is geared more towards multiple players, where Rabbids part 1 is mainly a one person game. I haven't played the DS version, but we bought it for a neice a little while ago and I guess she really likes it. I'm tempted to get it for my DS, but I think I want most games that are available for both DS and Wii for the Wii. I like my DS as a puzzle game mostly.

    Raving Rabbids. GREAT stuff.
  4. I played Rock Band at my neighbors from about 7PM until 4:30AM.
  5. Especially for the person he killed.
  6. Well they made it. Must have used the snow plow I bought her for Christmas if the place is under 34' of snow!
  7. Might be going across the street to my neighbors house. I don't know, I really don't give a rats behind about New Years.
  8. Uh-oh! Am I seeing a love connection being made here???
  9. We had Christmas Eve at our house this year. It was the first time I got to see the Wii in it's full "Party" mode. We've had it since, I think April, but this was the first case of a LOT of people in the house. EVERYBODY was in the family room playing it. Everybody was playing, from my 4 year old son to my wife's 87 year old Grandma! Everybody loved it and had a blast. It was pretty crazy.
  10. My wife and her sisters are going to be making an attempt at driving out to Dubuque this afternoon. They're a little crazy. Critic, quit whining. You got a s***load of stuff for Christmas, so you should just be happy about everything for a long time.

    Films Thread

A POST FULL OF SPOILERS!!! If it was a happy ending, I can tell you that people who read the book would have a problem with that. There is no happy ending in the book, and the ending of the book is where the title I Am Legend comes from. SPOILER for those who don't want the ending of the book!!! In the book the vampires, who are intelligent creatures, make Neville take a pill to kill himself. They feel as long as he lives he is a threat. His final words in the book are "I am legend" after he explains how the human race willl now be a legend and a story to tell the new race about. In other words, in the book, all human life has been wiped out and replaced by the vampires.
  12. I'm wondering if the "ladies" wear anything "down there"? Ya know, that stuff is usually hidden. An odd thought, I know, but all I can picture is people bringing their zoom lens for that money shot.
  13. QUOTE(The Critic @ Dec 26, 2007 -> 08:02 PM) I had to Google this - why do I suspect you didn't? I actually stumbled onto it on break.com. I am surprised to find out it has been around for about a year and this is the first day I have heard about it. I'm not so surprised to see Jimmy Hart is part of it.
  14. QUOTE(shipps @ Dec 24, 2007 -> 10:54 AM) At work. Why cant hospitals close on Christmas?Let baby Jesus heal the sick today he is fully capable. LOL!!! My wife, who is an RN in the OB ward says she agrees with you 100%! She'll be working tomorrow and on New Years Day.
  15. Not stupid, not hilarious, but some here will appreciate this, especially on a day such as today.

    Wii

QUOTE(Alpha Dog @ Dec 23, 2007 -> 12:39 PM) Rampage is FUN! But if you are playing it with 2 players, make sure to leave enough space between you or someone could get a black eye. That goes for Wii Sports Tennis also! My neighbor and I dang near destroyed my family room playing that one night. EVERYBODY went running from the room once we really got going! Judging from all I have been reading over the past few months, most true blue gamers are still playing a "wait and see" attitude with the Wii. Mario Galaxy has been the big proof to them that the Wii could be a GREAT system, but as long as Nintendo chooses to cater mostly to the non-die hards and releasing mini-game extravaganzas, they are all sticking to their 360's and PS units. Nintendo knows what main market they are going to attack, and it does not appear that the gamer is their goal. Their goal is to create gamers out of us non-gamers, and give us a few true gaming style games to ease us into that world.

    Wii

My 4 year old son kicks my butt on the Wii. His favorite games are the bowling game in the Wii Sports that comes with the system, Rampage and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. The Wii is perfectly aimed at all ages, but not "gamers".
  19. From the Asteroid hitting Mars thread in SLAM: QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Dec 21, 2007 -> 02:59 PM) Whats to like about Mars. Especially with this little guy running around trying to stroke the fires of interplanetary war with his Uranium PU-36 Explosive Space Modulator. Hope the damn Asteroid hits him in his head.
  20. QUOTE(iamshack @ Dec 18, 2007 -> 10:29 PM) They also face minimal or no repercussions for such drug use, unlike the position these players were in. Yeah? None of them face being booted or anything and Selig has also come out and said NOTHING will happen to them. So, what do they have to lose again? How many of them are really going to the Hall Of Fame? Clemens? The writers have decided on him, doesn't matter what he says now.
  21. QUOTE(bigruss22 @ Dec 17, 2007 -> 02:17 PM) So I went with some sketch supplies, she is really good but hasnt drawn for awhile, but seems to enjoy it when she has times so I bought her some really nice variety of sketching pencils and a portable handcase so she can take it with her on trips etc. Huh, so you did better than any of the suggestions. Nice! What the heck do you need us for? Oh, and Critic (yeah, like I bet that's your real name), I rarely post on message boards, so this whole 'net ettiquette thing is lost on me still. Sorry.
  22. For once I agree with most of the posters on Break. So what if he can drop them, I want to see him do that at an actual table.
