Coworker has a friend who played in the Sox org a few years ago. Didn't make it past A league before hanging it up but pretty much said the Pitching Coaches he worked with told him to spin the ball on breaking stuff and "just throw strikes". The Sox are not contending for a Wild Card for another 2 years (AT THE BEST). The Manager needs to be someone in the dugout with a voice and brain who will develop the next wave of talent.
