  1. Do we know what happened to Anthony Hoopii-Tuionetoa? He was on the restricted list earlier this season, sent to Arizona but never pitched, and just got released.
  2. Win #12 for the Barons. Gave up the tying run top 9 but then walked it off in the bottom half. McDougal/Schweitzer piggybacked. Tanner had his first rough outing, 2.1IP/4ER. Schweitzer 3.2IP scoreless. This Birmingham run is interesting. Not a lot of big names due to injuries/promotions, but just sort of finding ways to win on the margins. Antonacci has helped, 2-3 tonight brings him up to a 1.340 OPS in AA (8-16, 3 doubles, 6BB, 2K, 2 SB) through 6 games
  3. Haha, typo I guess. I meant 2 HR.
  4. Sox facing a couple of rehabbing MLBers, Nestor Cortes for Charlotte and Kyle Bradish for WS.
  5. Vargas had them made for everyone to celebrate MAT reaching 10 years of service time. It's sweet.
  6. It's probably just so that they can grab a fresh arm for a few days after working their pen so much in the series. Funny timing though.
  7. 1 late inning comeback 2 road series Ws 3 game sweep of the Pirates 4 hits for Teel 5 RBIs for Colson
  8. I've never seen multiple close calls go the Sox way like this, it's almost more shocking than the offense
  9. Barons continue their streak. 3-1 win for 11 in a row. Knights continue their ugly streak of coughing up late leads and head to extras after leading 8-5 through 7.
  10. Sox have turned the 4th most double plays this season (some of which is a consequence of more baserunners). Angels, Rockies, and Rays are the top 3.
  11. ....Yes? The comment I replied to was literally about hard hit balls going for outs.
  12. Pipeline updated (no 2025 picks yet) Big jumps for Oppor (up from 15) and McDougal (up from 27). Full list: https://www.mlb.com/milb/prospects/whitesox/
  13. The more important question is how many Sox hit their first MLB triple before their first MLB HR and went on to win MVP? (The answer is two, Thomas and Abreu. I'm here for Colson continuing the trend.)
  14. Dalbec takes Syndegaard deep again
  15. Giolito gave up 5 runs on 4 HR in 4 innings to the Phillies. Fellow former White Sox Romy picked him up with a grand slam off Luzardo.
