Baseball Gal

As long as Thorpe and Iriarte keep pitching this well, idc.

Dickman returns.....

Zorak from Spaceghost Coast to Coast. Don't send in the clowns

For those that want to complain about the Burger trade, he is hitting .228 with a .281 OBP and a .702 OPS for Miami. Looks like the trade might end up being a wash for both sides.

I liked Eder before his injury, but his command hasn't come back yet and due to age he's approaching non-prospect status pretty quickly. He'll be 26 in October. Hopefully he figures it out at some point this year, but early returns aren't looking good. And this is coming from someone that liked the trade from the Sox perspective. Also Burger is hitting .228 with an .281 OBP and a .702 OPS for Miami. Just seems like it might be a nothing for nothing deal.

I am aware.

Where's the Grobber when you need him for Bum of the week?

They need to DFA Maldonado and add him to the coaching staff.

Good god, now the pitching is getting lit up too, how are they going to win a game?

Bueller?

I thought he sat around 95 not 93

I thought Nastrini had a bigger fastball than this.

Moncada walked a lot as a prospect. Remember 2018? All of the Ks looking?

Half a season. He did not do well enough in Birmingham to earn a promotion IMO. He should still be there.

Are they going to DFA Soroka or move him to the bullpen when Clevinger is ready?

Cannon's cutter is a ground ball machine.

BTW the game is at 1:10 CDT

Remember, the best we're going to do with Jerry as owner is 2nd place. Playoffs are by accident.

It worked with Montgomery, hopefully it works again. *crosses fingers*

Eder looks like he might be broken. Shame. Sucks. Idk why he came here and immediately started to suck.

I thought Iriarte was supposed to be mid 90s but here he's 92-94. Weird.

Anyone have velocity readings on Thorpe tonight? I'd be encouraged if he starts averaging 92 mph or so.
