  1. This is why @southsider2k5 and others always say you need basically 2 or 3 times the prospects that you think you need. Many will need surgery and many will bust. Brutal. That Santos trade went from looking good a year ago to pretty bad.
  2. I actually thought he was congratulating Colson Montgomery on his future job as a host on CHSN once his chronic back issues ruin his baseball career.
  3. But Tray wants to know…
  4. I think it’s actually called a “just plain bad” period and it will last Shuster’s entire career. Definitely the very definition of an “innings eater”.
  5. No, they are Hulking up instead…
  6. But this can happen to any random office worker at any time as well. Mergers and acquisitions by larger companies causing the loss of jobs. This isn’t some crazy unique situation.
  7. I thought he would make the team on his name (supposed power), the fact that the Sox have loved him in the past, and that this is the first offseason he didn’t cost $5 million. Music to the Sox cheap ears. Guess we’ll find out.
  8. Zero protection yet again. Hopefully he is smart enough to take advantage and set a career high in BB’s and OBP, but we all know how much he likes to hack at low and away garbage.
  9. Just think about how quickly it got ugly this ST with injuries and poor performance? I think in under a month we are going to wish they just acquired and started a bunch of young players like Canario.
  10. Not just this team, but no MLB team. But these are the decisions a terrible team with no payroll has to make.
  11. Not watching either, but didn’t think about an injury. Hopefully not what WE is referring to. I think Venable said he had Perez, Cannon, and Davis as locks for the rotation.
  12. I almost feel like ST doesn’t matter for him to the Sox and that they will start him in the rotation regardless due to how he pitched last year in 124 innings. But I could be wrong, or you could be being sarcastic. 😀
  13. I wouldn’t be surprised if Amaya is starting so much because the Sox think Montgomery will be on the IL eventually, or they may just elect to keep him down. Who would you want to start at SS if that happens? Seems like they are just going with Amaya because he may be the best defender at SS.
  14. What do you think the confusion is for fans? There will be really bad White Sox baseball either way.
  15. I think we can see where this is headed. Getz better keep acquiring and drafting SS and 3B.
  16. A blocking TE. More blocking for Caleb and the next RB they draft.
  17. Easy typo to make — $10.1 billion. Crazy money!!! For the sake of comparison, Reinsdorf has a net worth of $2.1 billion and the Ricketts family is at $4.2 billion.
  18. That one homer was awesome… Back issues are going to F up his career, aren’t they?
  19. Do we know if that dbag who is best buddies with Clevinger is out? Maybe then Getz won’t keep signing Clevinger to deals until he retires.
  20. There’s almost zero reason to rush Slater back even if he’s healthy. 🤣
  21. Yep, Perez is a solid #5 starter on a good team.
  22. “Future’s so bright, I gotta wear shades…”
  23. What a steal… https://www.mlb.com/brewers/news/jose-quintana-brewers-contract-2025
