  1. Well, it’s good to know we can trust that Getz and this organization can identify a good hitter and were confident in their decision to potentially lose Workman. Afterall, the Sox are currently last in the MLB in AVG (.214), SLG (.321), and OPS (.612). No one should question Getz and his staff with it comes to identifying bad hitters. 🤣
  2. Let’s be honest. It’s not difficult for this sad sack team to roster anyone for the season. Amaya and Maton have both been on this roster.
  3. Nothing, zero. Just more bad Getz FA acquisitions. May as well have kept Workman around. Like many have noted year after year, Sox GM’s love to spend $5 million or under on a variety of crap that adds up to millions of wasted dollars. They still think quantity is greater than quality.
  4. He just knows no other team wants him. What a roster full of crap.
  5. Amaya must have incriminating photos of Getz.
  6. Whatever the Sox get back for Lee is probably going to be inconsequential.
  7. Former ECW wrestler Sabu, 60. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/obituaries/sabu-legend-wrestling-hardcore-style-dies-60-rcna206159
  8. 2025 MLB team payrolls: 26. Pittsburgh Pirates, $87,645,246 27. Chicago White Sox, $82,279,825 28. Tampa Bay Rays, $79,216,312 29. Athletics, $73,118,981 30. Miami Marlins, $67,412,619
  9. Just what the Sox need — another pitching prospect, and a bad one at that. What an epic drop in value for Robert.
  10. Any time you question if the Sox are making money… https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/columnist/bob-nightengale/2025/05/11/pete-alonso-stats-new-york-mets/83556338007/
  11. Sarcasm? Sizemore managed all of 45 games as an interim manager.
  12. Still drinking?
  13. If Jerry continues to employ Getz, he better get used to issuing end of the season apology press releases. But at what point will it become too embarrassing for Jerry to do it over and over? Oh wait, as long as Jerry is making a profit, he doesn’t care…
  14. Getz has topped himself. His record setting team from last year was 12-28 at this point last season. This team is 11-29. Getz is a 🤡. A monkey could have put together a team with a better record right now than Getz.
  15. Seriously. Getz is a fucking clown at this point. Only the Rockies GM is keeping the heat off of him.
  16. His lineups and decision making have been terrible thus far.
  17. The zero show of power is getting concerning (see Madrigal).
  18. You are probably right but this team has no one else worth playing anyways.
  19. Definitely losers. Just not lovable because of what the owner has done over the years.
  20. Nah, I'mma Do My Own Thing
  21. Agreed. Perhaps a good move by Hahn in drafting him. That could be three starters in the current Sox lineup that came from Hahn instead of Getz — Sosa, Quero, and Elko. 🤣
  22. Elko was already tearing the cover off the ball in the minors during the 2023 season. Getz was promoted to full GM at the end of the 2023 season so all of his changes/upgrades then took some time after that. Perhaps Elko was just always a good hitter and this notion that Getz’s improvements made him better are bullshit?
  23. Damn, I thought that elite speed and defense from Greg Jones would mean something. Guess not when you strikeout 30 times in 71 plate appearances at Charlotte. Getz couldn’t identify a good hitter even if the cryogenically frozen head of Ted Williams thawed out and head-butted him.
