18 games? 11 percent of the season. Pretty small sample size to judge them by and most of those wins were against the lowly Angels and A’s.

I doubt he cares how any of us feel. He just didn’t want to face the press in a conference so he made this preemptive release.

Nicky is okay with it because Getz paid him $4.3 million dollars to suck this season, even thought he’s a garbage player pretty much every year that deserves the minimum.

After seeing the results of Fletcher and Vargas, I doubt anyone wants to see Getz attempt to trade another pitcher for bats again.
