Is there any option of splitting time between remote work/office and commuting to the WI office “sometimes”? I worked for a company that had offices in Brookfield, WI, Warrenville, IL, and Springfield, IL. I lived closest to Warrenville so I would work out of that office, but my team was primarily in Brookfield and Springfield. I would sometimes drive out to those offices a few times a year. Even those 2.5 to 3.5 hours drives back and forth would drive me nuts, so I can’t imagine doing it weekly. I have since moved to a company that switched to full-time remote work and I can’t imagine ever going into an office again.

Nothing wrong with hiring from the best organizations — the Marlins and Royals Bet they came cheap. 🤣

With typical Sox luck, he will either get injured in ST and/or right before the trade deadline, resulting in him sitting on the Sox roster all year until he becomes a free agent.

Otherwise, you would simply trade Robert for whatever you could get, even if the return sucked. Plus, the payroll is still so low, even after Robert’s $20 million option.

To be fair to our GM that has blown the majority of his trades, my guess is that Littell had more perceived value as a starter to teams than Houser. But your point remains, acquiring Meadiocre definitely didn’t work out. He thought he could repeat his “success” with another aged out prospect like Vargas.

The Sox are in a perpetual rebuild these days because Jerry refuses to spend money and likely won’t at all until he sells the team in 2029. When the best player in the history of baseball becomes available, you should have some interest. Jerry doesn’t need you making excuses for him.

BR TV has actually televised every game of the season, outside of Marquee Network picking up two of their games. They have even broadcast freshman and sophomore games. Mount Carmel’s YouTube channel and presentation is pretty amazing with replays, etc. and they will be streaming the Loyola @ Mount Carmel game tomorrow at 4:30 PM.
