I am curious how Robert does this year with Venable as the skipper. It is early but Robert is taking walks, stealing bases, staying in the lineup, and really starting to click at the plate.

Meidroth, Q, and Baldwin are looking good!! Chuck and Ozzie mentioned Jeral Perez at Winston Salem with 7 homers so far, nice.

Chicago White Sox: Prospect Tim Elko hitting HRs in bunches Elko deserves a call up for the production he has put up. If he doesn't produce at the MLB level then send him down, wtf ?

I am happy to see Meidroth , Quero, and Baldwin all in the lineup. They give me hope.

I am stating the obvious and the majority of our posters are tuned in and way more informed than me. 2024 MLB stats, here is where the Sox ranked and something anything has to change. The ship was sunk last year, and the survivors are adrift in lifeboats. Last in all of MLB 2024: HR, OBP, SLG, OPS, OPS+, BA, BB , Runs . Almost 100 runs less than the second to last team Tampa Bay

Yesterday Carmen and Jerko mentioned Melton, Wells, and Farmio. I miss those guys so much. After the game I watched Chuck and Ozzie and cherished every minute.

What is your take with Vargas at 3rd base? I was only able to see the highlights of the game but he looked competent on the plays I saw.

At this time with the speculation that Justin Ishbia is going to own the Sox eventually I have a few questions and would love to hear thoughts/opinions. 1- Is Block 78 back on for a new ballpark? If so, it could be in line to become similar to Project 1901 or Wrigleyville South. 2- Would Joe Mansueto, Chicago Fire owner, have any interest in a partnership with Ishbia at Block 78? 3- Is Block 78 big enough to support a ballpark and soccer stadium? 4- Is White Sox Park an option for Mansueto to buy and retrofit into a soccer stadium?

So sorry to hear Jeff passing away. He was such a solid guy and was a favorite of mine.
