I did a quick google search just for kicks. I was curious on the tourism between SD and Chicago. The numbers are pretty eye opening; Chicago is a very popular destination. Martin needs to go on the IL with either a real injury or a made up one. Hitting Stewart in the head after throwing 5 feet over it on the pitch before is not acceptable. Whatever Martin's problem is let him figure it out in Charlotte.

Kittle hurt his back with the Dodgers as a youngster out of HS and was released. He went back to Gary, healed up, and was working in the mills. I believe he was spotted by a Sox exec playing local baseball and was signed.

I really enjoy Sean Anderson but adding Fegan would be fantastic. Herb Lawrence is back on a couple times a week.

I also canceled when Fegan was let go by the Athletic. Somehow, I still get the subscription but without the fee.

I brought up McGonigle because of both being drafted out of HS and the total of ab's in the minors. Bonemer does k but he also has 66 walks, 251/383/556 OPS .939

With Chase's wrist and then I heard Colson's back might be aching, Bonemer could get a cup of coffee in the Bigs.

McGonigle had 676 abs in the minors, Bonemer is at 763 abs.

David Clyde (18) was drafted #1 by the Rangers in the 1st MLB draft of 1973 in June. He started for the Rangers against the Twins on 6/27/73 . I think this was a disaster but I don't think calling up Bonemer would be the same.

It will be interesting to see what happens to Chase, Mateo would be a no brainer if Chase gets put on the IL .

I didn't realize he was a hulk. If the Sox get this guy going with the bat it will be a welcome site.
