  1. 162 is a grind, he'll be fine.
  2. It was 4-0 before I sat in my lazy boy. Kudos to Martin for stopping the bleeding, staying in there for 6 and giving the Sox a chance. What a comeback !!!
  3. Ozzie was chirping about Vasil earlier but he has let it go.
  4. No disrespect to Tray but this is funny.
  5. With Schultz I think of Randy Johnson because they were both 6'10" LP. Randy has said that it took him years to figure it out, hopefully Schultz can put it together sooner.
  6. Pump the brakes on Schultz failed or the Sox failed Schultz. It's a little early to come to conclusions on a prized pitching talent, all of 22 years old, making his rookie debut.
  7. Clay Holmes would be a welcome addition.
  8. The Sox seem to have got Hicks back on track and his value is right where he is, throwing GAS in the pen. I am hoping they get Seranthony squared away so he could be used in non-blow out games.
  9. If the Sox weren't in the hunt, the on-the-job training for Schultz wouldn't be a problem. I would send him down and bring up Urquidy for a start and see what happens.
  10. That answers that question, Hays or Pereira. Let's see if the Sox get any interest in Hays.
  11. That's what I am thinking, Hays can hit LH pitching.
  12. I hope Mune doesn't fire his agent and then hire Boras.
  13. I agree, he has had 17 starts at Indianapolis this year, low walk per 9, good whip, looks like he is 100% back from TJ, WS experience, bring him up.
  14. I think Venable wants Grichuk on the team.
  15. I have never had sushi but if I do it will be a Mune Pop Up.
  16. The sales of Mune Pop Up Sushi will pay for Munetaka's extension.
  17. Alejandro Kirk is owed 12.3M the next 4 years, would Toronto or the Sox be interested ?
  18. He gone and Teel could possibly be back, crazy
  19. Mead plays 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, I will take what we have at those positions. I guess he could have been the UT or R/ DH. Mead wasn't going to get the playing time here and his departure has led to very positive things. The Sox didn't have an established a LF, CF, or RF in the preseason. Sam was given a chance to learn on the fly in LF because Benny was a defensive liability. Peters in CF made the All-Star team, and Montgomery is finally the answer to a long-time hole in RF. Benny getting moved to DH and now sharing the role with Grick has been working. Grick can also play the outfield.
  20. July 26, 1942 – 17-year-old Chuck Comiskey was being groomed to take over the team. I always think of both Chuck Comiskey and Muggsy Halas and what could have been if they stuck around.
  21. 2 homers since the All-Star break isn't going to work.
  22. The injuries to Teel and the regression of Quero shows how important it is to draft and develop. Before the WBC the Sox catching was one of their strengths but that has quickly evaporated.
  23. Chase is not getting traded in the 2026 season.
