Fangraphs Article About Managerial Candidates
Thank you, Sir, that changes my opinion of Buck Showalter. I have always got the good vibe/sugar coated stuff about Buck from MLB network and ESPN because he was on the shows as an analyst. I like Keith Law coming out with what he really thinks. I do remember Ozzie taking a few digs at Buck calling him, "Mr. Baseball". But with Ozzie I kind of take with a grain of salt.

Schriffen speaks...
Hehe , how about TLR and Leyland going after Harry and Jimmy Piersall, or Hawk wanting a piece of Burns and Boorstein. I don't think The Commander, Bob Elson ever went toe to toe with a ball player or manager that I know off.

Fire Chris Getz
Does Chris Getz deserve to be fired, yes. Do Sox fans deserve a competent owner, yes. If you tell me Chris Getz should never have been hired as the GM I would agree with you. We are stuck with both of them for now, all I ask is Abe Reinsdorf stays out of the way and lets Getz run the club and make changes as he sees fit. I am not giving Getz a vote of confidence but as a fan it's the only hope I have. In 4-6 years from now when both Jerry and Chris are gone maybe some superstars evolve out of the Scouting changes taking place. In the meantime, as PT Barnum said, "There's a sucker born every minute." That would be me cheering the Sox winning 5 out of 6 the last week of the season.

Troll account on the managerial opening
He better stay out of White Sox business

Dear Sox fans
Dear Sox Fans, Here is my 2025 plan for the future of the Chicago White Sox. Chris Getz drives Jerry to Spring Training with Scriff in the back seat taking route 66. By the time they hit Tulsa Oklahoma jerry can't take it anymore and gets out of the car. Reinsdorf sells the team on the spot and Uber's back to Chicago.

Sox trying to fix Vargas
Ramos isn't lighting the league on fire but between him and Vargus I would rather have Ramos getting the ab's

Dear Sox fans
Hang in there, lots of pissed off Sox fans venting their frustrations. I am already looking forward to the Hot Stove League, watching Future Sox, Locked on White Sox, and Vinny Dubber on YouTube videos. Plus we have a ton of great posters right here on Soxtalk. KC was 56-106 last year and tomorrow they will be in Baltimore playing the Orioles. (of course they went 12-1 against our Sox to propel themselves into the playoffs )

Fangraphs Article About Managerial Candidates
If Getz stays in the role of GM, I want him to make the selection without Tony & Jerry butting in. Buck Showalter or Terry Francona are older and have health issues but if they could come in and be a bridge to a guy like Grady Sizemore or Santos/Leyland I would be onboard. Grady has a lot of potential he just needs experience.

By the Numbers...
Good work Lip. The one pitcher on your list that has me wondering if he could be an asset next year is Soroka. He has pitched pretty good out of the pen in September. I know it's a very small sample size but he might be of interest.

Stone not sure he will be back in 25, season "wearing on him"
I have enjoyed Steve over the years and happy he is onboard going forward

You watch 162 2024 Chicago White Sox games from start to finish and get back to me with your duress

Levine: Possible frontrunner for manager - LAD 1B Coach Clayton McCullough
Sizemore would be great managing one of the Sox Minor League Affiliates.

I will give Schriff credit for showing up and doing his job under extreme duress.

Crochet open to extension...
All I have to cheer for is either the Sox top prospects or trading for other team's top prospects. Jerry isn't going to spend any money on top free agents.

Crochet open to extension...
29 would be active if they were attainable

Pay your money do what you want. Sox fans cheering for losses is something I can't get behind.

Crochet open to extension...
I would be interested in every GM's take on Schultz & Smith. Half of them will say, "glad they are in the AL."

Crochet open to extension...
Did Benintendi's second half make him at least tradeable? Did Sosa figure it out? his last month .368/.388/.540 7 .927 OPS , if he did then 2nd base is covered. Will Robert be on the trading block? I think it would be better to keep Robert and see if he can bounce back to his 2023 numbers and then decide to trade or extend him. Ramos at third , Mongomery at SS , and Quero catching are going to be given a shot. There are still lots of holes to fill but the youngsters give me hope that they can develop if given a chance. Could someone like Tim Elko share DH/1st base and hit 30 bombs, who knows

Crochet open to extension...
Put me down for signing Crochet to an extension, I like having All Stars on the roster. I look at the Sox having elite starting pitching with Smith and Schultz coming on. They also have pieces in place for a very good bullpen without having to trade for. They can add on additional position players through trades and F/A.
