Also love the fact that Walker/Sanchez get promoted and play better at the higher level. Definitely a great sign. Walker/Sanchez could very well be our 1-2 combo in two years.

Sanchez just turned 20 years old and already is walking at a 53-per-162-game season clip. Whereas Escobar couldn't hit a lick, Sanchez is proving he can while also showing solid patience at the plate. The guy has a very bright future, most likely at second base where he can be an above-average offensive second baseman. He seems like a perfect leadoff or number two hitter.

Barnum back and looking good. Sanchez continues to rake, three more hits today.

KW is at his best when he has to pinch pennies and not when he is given a big payroll. It's counterintuitive but true.

It's amazing how much quality talent we have acquired the past month and I haven't shed a single tear about the players we've given up. Usually KW gives up too much because of his overaggressiveness, but this year, he is killing it.
