  1. The magic number keeps getting smaller.
  2. Haha, I read like five threads a day anymore. This was one of the lucky five.
  3. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 25, 2007 -> 06:59 PM) It does!! I've been dealing with this since February and it's getting worse and of course no one can tell me why nor can they find a remidy. No drugs due to being pregnant, and I'm scared as it progresses what other issues/problems may come up. Thanks Yoss. It gives me some more questions to ask. Take care - Steff Either this has been elsewhere and I never saw it, or this is the first time you're making this known-- CONGRATS STEFF!
  4. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jun 25, 2007 -> 08:22 AM) do it do it do it Yes please.
  5. Kobayashi will not be at the hot dog eating contest on July 4th.
  6. http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2007/06/25/...e-as-a-mariner/ Kind of cool to hear. Also, if anyone hasn't seen the videos of his return to Seattle, definitely check them out.
  7. QUOTE(daa84 @ Jun 25, 2007 -> 08:45 AM) i think this thread deserves to be pinned....good luck big man Agreed, and done. Remember this sig? Heh.
  8. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ Jun 25, 2007 -> 07:10 AM) Right now, I say trade him. If you want to sign him, sign him this offseason. This team needs to be completely rebuilt. If he's traded, I can't see there being any scenario that he re-signs here.
  9. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 24, 2007 -> 07:45 PM) I can't totally agree. I honestly think these guys are trying as hard as they can, but just aren't good enough. I DO say GO TO HELL KENNY WILLIAMS. He has put together this joke of a team, this joke of a farm system, has been a prick towards guys like Frank Thomas, and led us to 6 Octobers out of 7 at home. I could never hate this team, but I hate the losers running it that have put us in this spot. The entire scouting department needs to go. Dude, you were right there with him on the Frank thing. Way to pull a Mariotti.
  10. I went to Hep's service yesterday at Assembly Hall. It was really well done. Adam Herbert (IU President), Rick Greenspan (IU AD), Brad Bates (Miami AD), Anthony Thompson, James Hardy, and Joe Palcic, Hep's family talked all about the great things about Hep. A lot of great stories about the person Hep was. They also had a couple of nice videos--one was a family video and another was a football video, as he was followed by a videographer for a good part of his two years at Indiana. There were a lot of notables in attendance--the IU football team, former Indiana and Miami players, Ben Roethlisberger, John Mellencamp, Sean Payton, Pat Fitzgerald, and Tim Brewster. The ending was very cool, as Hep instilled a couple traditions at IU--the Walk and the Rock. They had everyone line up outside of Assembly Hall, on the track of the Walk, as Hep led the Walk for the final time.

  12. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jun 21, 2007 -> 12:53 PM) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes out one month from today. This makes me happy. That is all. I've been watching all the movies for the first time this week--I still need to see the fourth. I know this is the wrong way to do it, but it's really got me into this story. After watching these movies so far, my plan was to see the fifth and then read the next two books. However, I'm tempted to start reading them all from the beginning now.

  14. I don't like it, I love it.
  15. IU's AD Rick Greenspan was asked about naming the additions to the stadium after Hep, and Greenspan noted that he's been calling it the Hoosier Education and Performance Center.
  16. Here's an article that's been refreshing all morning with quotes from coaches and colleagues: http://iuhoosiers.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl.../061907aad.html ------ This is so surreal. As a few of you know, I've been interning for IU football this summer. It's hard to put into words what I'm feeling right now. Things were rough there today. It's kind of fitting--it hasn't rained all month here in Bloomington. And today, we've been getting a steady downpour. They're still holding groundbreaking ceremonies here in a few hours for the football stadium, basketball facility, and baseball/softball fields. It's going to be interesting. I really hope they rename the renovated end to the stadium after him, because without Hep, none of this would even be possible. With his enthusiasm and optimism, he's completely changed the way IU views football. We were blessed to have Coach Hep, even if it was only for a little over two years. We've definitely lost someone special.
  17. Kalapse's man crush is trying to make a comeback. http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...cs-home-utility
  18. I'm not even reading this thread, but doesn't KW usually do the exact opposite of what he says in the media?
  19. I didn't get to bump this yesterday for a US Open victory--boo, but Tiger's officially a father now. http://sports.espn.go.com/golf/news/story?id=2908637
