His post said "28 HR and 117 RBI's is a pretty good season at the plate any way you slice it" and I think Tony Batista's two season say otherwise.

Ever notice how all the Fortune 500 companies offering nice opportunities go to the campuses recognized for their excellent programs?

I'm sorry, which "monster" season are you reffering to? The one where he had a .286 BA and .311 OBP? the guy is a complete hack in the field and a free swinger. He also had some attitude issues as well.

Crede close to going to Brewers
Yep. That's a down year for Konerko and a good year for Kotchman. Go figure. Oh yeah, it's also the first time Kotchman has put up any numbers like that, whereas Konerko has surpassed that .839 OPS 8 times in his career. Care to explain Kotchman's Ervin Santana-like splits and how they would help the White Sox who don't play 81 games in Anaheim? Your first baseman is supposed to be a slugger and run producer. That OBP is a one year event and most of it was due to his numbers in Anaheim.

Crede close to going to Brewers
Kotchman sucks. We should just trade for Travis Lee if we're worried about defense at first base so much. Konerko is signed for $36 million over the next three years. Jose Guillen just signed a 3 year $36 million deal with the Royals making Konerko a realtive bargain.

Bulls***. Accreditation is important for a school. As a graduate of a public school, I take this as a slap in the face, especially when my school is one of the top programs for my field.

Crede close to going to Brewers
Color me unimpressed with a first baseman who hits 11 home runs. Splits! Home: .320/.396/.519 Away: .274/.352/.422 Keep in mind, that's a "good" year for him. Career away from the big A: .253/.323/.371 That's just pitiful Perhaps he and Ervin Santana should get a room together.

The 2 girls, 1 cup thread
The one that was passed around when I first wen to Illinois in 2003 involved a vibrator and a man's pee hole.

Grinding on the Gridiron
Hey that's nice, but Darin Erstad isn't with the Sox any more. In fact, most of us wish he could be erased from White Sox history. How long until he gets hurt on the sideline?

Don't you have a good Brewer contact? Please keep us informed.

When did Illinois start locking in their rates? When I went it was around $4k a semester, by the time I left (2 years) it was pushin $5k.

How is it that much cheaper to go to MSU instead of Illinois while being an Illinois resident?

Miguel Cabrera to the Tigers
I made it after seeing yours.

Miguel Cabrera to the Tigers
I really hope the rumor involving the Sox isn't ture because I want Fields to play third base.

- Guillen officially to Royals
..and that's what Konerko has left on his contract. Just for comparion sakes.- What does everyone want for Christmas?
Stuff too expensive for other people to pay for, so I'll end up buying myself.- Decision made
What do you think of Gordon, especially after they acquired Lidge? Pretty similar situation to Crede.- Chris Capuano
YES! I've been waiting for a "pile on" thread. Capuano pitched in 29 games last year. In the first 7 games he pitched in, the Brewers won. After May 7th, Capuano pitched in 22 games and the Brewers lost everyone of them. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/7132/g...WRXWLEMWCiFCLcF That is incredible- Don Shula needs to go to hell.
Dolphins give up 30 unanswered points. Now 0-12- Xavier Nady
Or we could get him for free: If Boras is his agent, he could demand more guaranteed money over a longer period of time. Plus you also have to compete with 28 other teams for his service.- Don Shula needs to go to hell.
In other words..........- Don Shula needs to go to hell.
didn't you hear? The 1985 Bears won the Super Bowl as a bunch of individuals, not as a team.- How fast can you type?
You type 340 characters per minute You have 38 correct words and you have 23 wrong words - Guillen officially to Royals
