  1. QUOTE(quickman @ May 6, 2005 -> 05:24 PM) score? Bulls up 2 at the half.
  2. QUOTE(Fotop @ May 6, 2005 -> 05:21 PM) ...and Nuke and Jason crawl out of their various holes.... Bulls game went to halftime. I have the volume on the upstairs computer on really loud so I can hear the game and during commercials/breaks I come upstairs and watch the game.
  3. QUOTE(Fotop @ May 6, 2005 -> 05:20 PM) I like Howard a lot, but I think they want a king's ransom for him. Plus, Thome is hurt so Howard is providing good insurance. Maybe if Howard bombs in his limited time, his trade value will go down. I personally want Adrian Gonzalez from TEX because there's no way breaks that infield anytime soon. Plus, he's left handed, which is always good. I just don't know what we could offer Texas...maybe some pitching prospects not named McCarthy. I wouldn't give up a ransom for an unproven minor leaguer...case closed. If your going to give up a ransom of prospects or anything else, you better darn well get a damn good player. For example...I rate a ton of the Sox prospetcs over Howard. Homers are great and all but he still k's too much (although he's improved on things) and minor league numbers doesn't mean major league success. Philly can have him. I'd love him in the Sox org, but I'm not about to give up the farm for a farm player. I'd rather give a kings ransom for Aubrey Huff.
  4. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ May 6, 2005 -> 05:20 PM) JERMAINE!!! That a'way, JD! Slowly Jermaine's timing is on its way back.
  5. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 6, 2005 -> 05:19 PM) Tyson is gonna be the key to the 2nd half. He has to contest shots in the paint and wreck havoc on the glass. Tyson=key to the game. And he needs to stop trying to outjump people on the defensive glass and start getting his body on guys. Funderburke has actually played well. Made a bucket and hasn't been a bad passer inside. I'd like to see him take it strong once or twice though cause he's had the ball in good post position on a couple occassions.
  6. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 6, 2005 -> 05:12 PM) Lead goes from 9 to Wizards lead before anyone knew what the f*** happend. That was just purely a bulls*** display of basketball. You don't protect the basketball and you pay. Luckily Pargo comes in and hits a clutch bucket. Plus you had Griffin doing his thing and Chandler looks like he's maybe got himself back under control. Hinrich is playing really good. I want to know one thing, Hinrich isn't even close to the fastest guard on this team, yet he's the only one that can freaking penetrate??? What the hell is Ben doing? Ben needs to use his speed and get inside. I saw him do it once and he was able to make the pass for an easy Bulls bucket. Hinrich can't be the only one capable of doing this on a regular basis...oh ya, did I mention..Bulls win this series, I've decided I'm buying myself a Hinrich jersey (By FAAR my favorite player...god he plays heady).
  7. If anyone ever wants to know why Ben doesn't start yet..watch tonights game. God he needs to learn to protect the basketball and that doesn't evne go into his crappy defense. To be honest, Ben is really not much different than Pargo. Both are shooters and great scorers, aside from that, they got quite a bit to work on still. Chandler had a f***ing retarded ass flagrant..what the hell was he thinking. Gordon with 2 stupid turnovers creating to 2 easy transition buckets.
  8. QUOTE(Brian @ May 6, 2005 -> 04:55 PM) DON'T JINX!!!!!! Oh don't worry, no jinx from me.
  9. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 6, 2005 -> 04:47 PM) It's so comical keeping an eye on how frequently Washington gets points on offensive rebounds. One thing I notice, no one is f***ing boxing out. Instead they stand there and hope to outjump for the rebound. You almost always see Haywood or Ruffin without bodies on them after the shot...it doesn't cut it.
  10. If I never heard Walton announce another game...I wouldn't cry. How the hell is he their main announcer???? Steve Kerr and Albert were lightyears better. And on that cheapie Hinrich call all I found myself doing was swearing at the TV after Walton goes, oh that was just too easy to call. Walton = BUFFOON...BULLS = WINNERS Captain Kirk is putting this team on his back and they aren't leaving Washington without a W, you can see the fire and passion he is playing with.
  11. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 5, 2005 -> 07:42 PM) Ok I'm definitely going to remember this. At least I can take comfort in knowing the Cowboys will have a better record than the Bears. Don't hold your breath on that one Andrew....Cowboys are way overrated, too many people act as if they made so many great moves. Parcell = OVER THE HILL.
  12. What the f*** was that 2nd foul call on Hinrich. Invisible...oh ya and Walton needs to just STFU.
  13. Thats it...pinned to guarantee a Bulls road victory
  14. QUOTE(qwerty @ May 5, 2005 -> 11:06 PM) Point is seven steals off of practically anyone but iverson is really impressive. Stealing seven off of iverson is like four from a good ball handler. Its like stealing 7 from Ben Gordon
  15. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 6, 2005 -> 03:49 PM) What he said. Maybe AJ jersey sales alone would make it worth giving him a few mill deal
  16. QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ May 6, 2005 -> 07:23 AM) They said that fans should check out Soxtalk.com and whitesoxinteractive.com. They said that they were cool sites and had a ton of smart fans on them. I think it was Wilsy who mentioned it last year towards the end of the year. Very cool...Welcome Aboard, always great having another Sox fan on board
  17. QUOTE(RockRaines @ May 6, 2005 -> 07:35 AM) I just see a 19 year old, maybe he is 20 now down at low a can possibly be scraping the top of the system in 2 years. I see him at least at W-S by the end of the year. First he's a catcher, second he's still got tons of work to do and third, he isn't going to get promoted anytime soon. Catchers are the slowest moving guys through the system because there is so much more to learn than how to hit pitching at different levels. You need to learn and constantly improve your game calling skills, release, and blocking ability behind the plate. He's still insanely raw too. At the very least, he'd be in Bham next year, Charlotte the following year and then Chicago....and frankly I could see it being even another year. Lucy is a guy that could get hot, but as physically gifted as he is, he still is quite raw.
  18. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ May 6, 2005 -> 06:38 AM) Article here from the Southtown; AJ has long been one of my all time favs...I had wanted him on the SouthSide for years...if they ink him long term...I'm going on whitesox.com or wherever else and buying a Pyrz jersey GET ER DONE
  19. Ya, I still can't figure out with Anderson. I never thought he'd come in and tear up Charlotte. I thought he'd be in for a rough first half....shows what I know, LOL.
  20. QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ May 5, 2005 -> 05:27 PM) I am guardedly optimistic. But, as my Twins friend always points out: the Sox have come out of the gate strongly the past two years--but haven't been able to finish the deal. I hope they go deep into the playoffs, but I'll take it one game at a time.... Thats how I think I'd rate myself. All I know is I'm happy the Sox are where they are and hopefully it lasts.

    QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ May 4, 2005 -> 07:18 PM) Well Mike, you're a shoe-in for the Soxtalk Hall of Fame. I guess the only question that comes to fans' minds now is retirement. Nah..when he tests positive for using a robot to help post for him he'll get a lifetime ban
  22. But would you honestly chose Duhon ahead of Deng? Cause Iggy had a pretty solid year and considering he was healthy the whole year was definately chosen over Luol (who I happen to rave about). Although he was better than Jamer Nelson who made the 2nd squad (regardless of Nelson's hot finish...he isn't near the all around player Duhon is).

  24. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 5, 2005 -> 08:14 AM) The Bears added the NFL's leading TD guy from last season, the 2nd RB in the Draft, 2 new OLineman, and they get their #1 QB back. I think that will help their offense 10 fold. 2 OL, a top WR, a stud RB, a #1 QB Plus the Bears had a great defense without their 3 best players for the majority of the season. Brown, Urlacher, Tillman Plus they were already lightyears better then these teams. This is just a piece of s*** article.
