Did some article just come out or something? personally I'd laugh my ass off. My dad brought up yesterday the point that maybe Arizona's new guys want to bankrupt the team and get MLB to buy them out and contract them. I don't know what the hell they are doing. Its as if they think they can win now. But they spent there money on the wrong guys.

Looking at a quote from Kenny in the Uribe column. He alludes to the fact that he's offered similar type of deals to some other players. I think Rowand is going to happen sometime this offseason. Going to get a little more money, but I don't know how much more, imo. Plus looking at what guys like Guzman, Renteria, and other shortstops have gotten this year, this is a good deal, imo.

Disgaree, I think Burke would be the backup and would be Buehrle's personal catcher and that they would non-tender Davis. I also thinking signing AJ is good, but the Sox need a 5th starter. They entered the offseason needing one and better start the season with one and there are no solutions to the problem on the current roster, imo.

Dodger stadium is near the pitchers park the Safeco is. Beltre is a phenomenal player, both offensively and defensively. Its money well spent. Richie Sexson on the other hand...now thats overpaying.

Personally I hope he has a ploy of landing Hudson, simply because he'd be awesome. I won't complain with any of the 4 mentioned though. They better add a pitcher though. But Pyrz and Perez is ok by be

Thats a good move by the Mariners. Much better then giving Sexson the money. They are done making any big name acquisitions, unless of course that guy is Matt Clement or another pitcher. Delgado is talking with both New York teams extensively as well as the Orioles. Call it a hunch but if he sits out for a while, maybe the Angels make a phone call his way.

Considering the Sox have about 11.5 to spend now, they could have some options depending on what they do. God I hope they get RJ or Hudson and then could pick up one of the non-tenders and Pyrz. That would be a pipedream I'm sure but wow. Oh ya, a 5th starter too.
