I got a feeling both will be back. I think the Sox may tender Everett and he'll be back for another year. Dont' know where they'd play him. I'd say DH or Centerfield. Thomas may be at first though and then Everett could be DH'ing part of the time with Rowand playing center. Who knows though. I do think the Sox are gonna bring Daubbie back and give him more at bats. One big mistake this season was not playing him more, imo.

Damn it...I must of missed the first at bats. I'm hoping it hasn't started so I can see Aaron and Willie hit. I'm a big fan of both of them. I think Willie is gonna make it and Miles will be valuable one way or another.

I'd say the big thing is how bad does Colon want to stay here. I think the Sox have made an offer that will secure Colon's future for the rest of his life. He knows after signing this contract he will be set. Now he has to decide whether its alright with him to sign for a little less to stay in a place he likes (If he really likes it here) and to have a home for a while. BottomLine: I think we will have the front four back next season. I also think we'll see Buehrle signed long term (Now is a good time to do it, imo). Sox will move Konerko, imo...and I think you may not see Roberto or Jose back. They may stick with Harris/Miles at 2nd and sign a vet (You know that a vet middle infielder will be out there late in free agency available for absolutely nothing). Then at short I think the Sox may just invest some money or go get a young talented shortstop (Possibly Christian Guzman if available...maybe a David Eckstein..I hope no Eckstein). Will have some more ideas once free agency starts and you see who exactly is out there. If Guzman is there I'd sign him in a heartbeat. But in that case you'd need to find a leadoff hitter.

Wee Willie has played really good from what I've seen in the box scores. I may just turn this game and watch it since we have some of the younguns playing. I have to think that the Sox are gonna do everything in their power to move Konerko during the offseason.

I'll try to watch that press conference. I'm assuming there will be an announcement tomorrow morning saying when it will be. I wish Jerry the best. He's a good guy, but things just didn't work here. I do believe if he took over in Philly he'd lead them to the playoffs.

Nd has the toughest schedule in the country. Look their there schedule and you see about two cupcake games...three at the very most. They are playing 8 bowl teams from last year and a ton of top teams. Thus far everyteam they have played has been ranked at one point or another (I assume MSU is gonna be ranked this week). Don't tell me they couldn't handle a big ten schedule...cause they could. ND constantly plays incredibly tough teams. I'm a huge big ten fan...but I guarantee thye'd beat probably the team to beat most of the time with OSU, Mich and Iowa (I think they are gonna become a powerhouse under Ferentz).

I won't cry over the deals. If Ring goes on to be a star or someone else does...thats the chance you take. It meant a lot to White Sox fans to see the Sox go for it for the first time in a long time. That attitude will carry over next year as I think the Sox are winning back Sox fans. Especially if the team on the most part sticks together and maybe makes a few improvements.

I'd much rather see the Sox pursue Latroy Hawkins and have him replace Gordon. Gordon was awesome this year, but what are the odds he stays healthy again. If temas are gonna give him big bucks, try to sneak in and grab Hawkins whom the Twins say will be gone.

I was fearing this game and there was definately reason why. Iowa was banged up and they didn't play to win. MSU is a good football team though. I'd say them, Michigan and Iowa are the top teams in the big ten. I give OSU no credit whatsoever.

If what I believe happens to their arms from all the overwork then I would agree with you.

I'd say there is a pretty good chance and I Think he's the kind of guy you could bring in to say...hey were aren't bowing out next year and right now thats got to be the statement the Sox make, especially since the Cubs are right on the brink.

He'd definately add some respect and image. I think he's a bit overrated, but maybe bringing him back to Chicgao would be a good plan.
