  1. Spencer ripped a double to center. One down and Casey Blake is up.
  2. That second strike call was bull, but the curve he threw Thomas was nasty and Frank just sat their and ended the inning with a K.
  3. On a 1-0 count the pitcher put his hand into his mouth or something and they gave him another ball. He then through two more balls and Manos got the walk. Hurt is up with two on and the bullpen gets up. Come on Frank, your due for a double or so
  4. Jimenez rips another and Phillips robs him of a single and they almost turn a double play, but Jimenez beats it out. Jimenez has 3 hard hit balls and not one single. Come on Jose, double time.
  5. Don't we play them tomorrow? You want the Tigers to beat us? Shame! Yeah thats right....... Soxtalk.com is just a front for our true passion......TigersTalk.com When we say Magglio Ordonez we really are talking about the greatest player in the majors, Bobby Higginson
  6. What was even more weird was his in side the park homer in Tampa. -Sox go down in order 1-2-3 To the bottom of the 3rd we go. 5-0 Sox
  7. -two straight grounders to Manos and he fields them and throws them both out. On the 2nd one Crede almost got their. He's got amazing range, especially compared to Herbert. Man our left side of the infield has insane range, then the other is the completely opposite -Buehrle walks some guy on 4 straight pitches. Its his 2nd walk of the game (He also walked Vizquel). -Brandon Phillips gets out.
  8. yep it's a Splitter, that's what the Indian announcers are saying That was filthy. Only reason I thought it may not be a splitter was it didn't look like the velocity is there. Still, I like it when a pitcher takes a bit off a pitch so it really dips out of the strikezone, but when it leaves their hand it looks just like one that would drop and stick in the bottom of the zone.
  9. As long as Buehrle does what he can, were in good shape. I don't want to see the Sox let up though. I want to see them continually beating the crap out of the Tribe pitchers. A huge blowout is something to get this team started on a terror. Plus it would be 5 of the last 6.
  10. Damn he's throwing a whicked splitter (Or thats what it looks like to me) and he struck out Maggs on it.
  11. Davis is looking much better. He strikes out Manos and then strikes out Frank on a nice pitch. Come on Maggs, TWO OUT RALLY TIME
  12. Yes, 1 inning, and this team has finally gelled Cluj, I really don't think that inning happens with Carlos in their. Not that Daubach did anything big either. Sometimes you just got to go with other bats when a guy is struggling as bad as Carlos. If Brian and Rios both have big games, then let them both play again tomorrow. Usually I like Carlos, but he's slumping so he needs to get his mind out of a funk, take a day or two off, and do a little more bp so he can stop flying open.
  13. To be honest, I don't see the problem. If their is a business for it, and a game is sold out and people want to buy tickets then why not sell them. Its not like other companies don't do the same. Plus, the way I see it, if people can make money then no problem. They aren't harming anyone, its legal to do. Its not like they are witholding tickets and then jacking the price up on them. If JR were to do it, I'd have no problem, but their is no demand for it. Only thing I'd want is for him to put some of the money he makes into the White Sox.
  14. I think everyone will like Rios. I loved this signing so much. Armando has always been a good hitter when he's healthy, but he's always had fluke injuries or never got the right opportunities, ala Aaron Rowand.
  15. 2 Outs now and Burk rips a single up the middle. Runners are on 1st and 2nd now. Come on Mark, get this guy out. Vizquel and Burks were the two with hits. Matt Lawton hit the ball hard as well, but Daubach was there. -Shane Spencer grounds out to short.
  16. There's no doubt that when Sandy is healthy, he'll VERY much help this team. He's a high .200's hitter for his career, and calls a fine game -- can't ask a catcher to do much more for the money he's making. The key is that he gets 2 games off for every 3 he plays, imo. Sandy is really good when kept fresh. The good thing is, it is perfect for Olivo to get a few games and then a few off as well so he can seep in what he learned and then watch Alomar a bit and learn some more. In Detroit is the rotation going to be Loaiza, Stewart and Colon?
  17. I'm not worried about much anything. I know we have an awesome ball club.
  18. D'Angelo hits a shot, but right into the 3rd basemans mit. D'Angelo probably had the two hardest hit balls of the inning and neither time did he reach base. Either way 5-0 Sox with Buehrle getting ready to pitch. Come on Mark shut em down.
  19. Yess, 5-0 Sox. Alomar hits one up the middle just past the reach of Brandon Phillips. Runners at the corners again and D'Angelo is due up. Come on D'AnG
  20. Rios rips a two run single into right field. Its now 4-0 with runners on 1st and 3rd. Rios got a fatty and he drilled it. Way to go Sox, keep it coming!!!!!!!!!1 Sandy Alomar is due up. Come on Sandy, stay hot
  21. YESSS 2-0 Sox Crede rips it up the middle and it deflects off the pitcher. Pitcher doesn't hit it and its probably an out. Rios is now up with the bases juiced and 2 outs. Come on Armando
  22. Daubach pops out and the bases are still juiced. Come on Sox, you got to get some runs. Come on Crede, its salami time
  23. Maggs extends his hitting streak to 7 and its now 1-0 SOX. Runners on the corners for PK. Come on Paulie, you can do it, your my hero
