    Work tonight. Club/bar/whatever tomorrow, BBQ Sunday or Monday (family hasn't decided yet). I'll use the other to hang with my girl and her friends/family. Sunday is going to be a scorcher though (95° projected).

    Ravelo a walk machine (well.. by his standards) this month.
  3. Wood AINEC. If the internet back then was anything like it is now, he would of been very hyped. Still a good reliever for a number of years, but damn what could of been... That said, still a good career for him. Now if you wanna talk about even more of a disappointment, look at his former teammate on the Cubs who everyone thought was gonna be one of the best in the game (was such a stud at USC)...
  4. Congrats to Colin Fraser. Really likeable guy when he was here. I'm sure his old teammates are happy for him.
  5. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ May 21, 2012 -> 12:36 AM) (Along with Sexy Ace You damn right.
  6. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 21, 2012 -> 12:20 AM) Watched the entire game tonight and never thought once that the Clippers were going to actually win, even when they went up 5 late in the 4th. Their offensive structure is very stagnant. Absolutely no creative plays (other than lob city) or flow in their game. Lots of dribbling and no execution (it's seriously like watching their small guards look like Kirk Hinrich). Great building blocks for the future, but they better hope Blake finds a better box game.. and soon. Their final two plays describes VDN to a tee.
  7. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 20, 2012 -> 11:46 PM) Yeah, but I'm not sure how they'll score on Quick in the Finals without Bosh in front of the net. LMAO.

    QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 19, 2012 -> 11:07 PM) Daniel Webb is just god awful. A shame too. Tremendous arm, just can't pitch with it.
  9. QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ May 19, 2012 -> 07:30 PM) Just one of his b****es :headbang
  10. Thats just bad luck for Tank. Though I'm sure he'll take the Wrigley homerun in the winds anytime.
  11. QUOTE (Jake @ May 19, 2012 -> 07:19 PM) Some guys get in such an aggressive state of mind in 2-0, 3-1 counts that they fail to make solid pitch recognition We watched Juan Uribe be a master of this for years with us.
  12. QUOTE (oldsox @ May 19, 2012 -> 07:14 PM) That's the injury both Todd Helton and Rafael Furcal had in 2008. Both had surgery. Almost a killer injury for a 3B.
  13. Castro helped out Danks big time there. Gonna be a hell of a hitter, but showed his youth there.
  14. That is a nice shiner right there.
  15. QUOTE (Marty34 @ May 19, 2012 -> 07:04 PM) I'd love nothing more than to be proven wrong on Viciedo. It's May now.. so expect the Cuban to keep it going. Alexei too.
  16. 9 up 9 down for Danksy.
  17. QUOTE (BFirebird @ May 19, 2012 -> 06:56 PM) DAYAN! That was a Wrigley homer right there. Without a doubt. Still a strong kid though.
  18. My god I didn't realize how pathetic the Cubs lineup is.
  19. Nice article by Haugh a couple days ago on Kane. Actually dug up his own research on that incident. Some bits.. Well look at that. Deadspin not a believable site for s***. What a surprise.

    QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 18, 2012 -> 05:47 AM) And he doesn't turn 20 for another month. As you said he doesn't have a lot of power, but he's got plenty of time to develop some. And it doesn't have to be drastic showing. He is probably playing 2B in his future, a position where you can get away with little power. And Texas is showing once again they have great scouting.
