6/20 Games
Gilmore's hitting streak ends (I believe it was 16 or 17?) Short with a nice night.

Are you in or out
As I said many times if they go only 1 or 2 loses on this trip, I will be "keeping an eye on" again. They gotta do this to AL teams however, but this streak still is promising. If they can beat the Braves at least 2/3, I will probably look out for this team again.

Sox at Washington 6-18 game thread
Haha "some rookie" I like that Mike. Strasburg will be good IMO, but if the Nats bullpen remembers they suck, then we should have a great day with their bullpen.

¡Viva la Revolución!
QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 18, 2010 -> 02:34 PM) His reaction time, etc is all slow at 3B. He has a very very strong arm. Quite frankly Viciedo profiles much more as a left fielder than a 3rd baseman. He does have relatively soft hands though. I was banking he would move to RF for quite sometime cause of his arm, but the sox never did that.

2010 Minor League Catch-All Thread
I'm glad Wes is getting a chance somewhere else. Obviously he was an overdraft, but the guy showed alittle something at times. He will benefit moving to the NL and to another org. even as alittle bit of a thought. (as he wasn't a thought here)

Kenny Williams for GM of the Year
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jun 17, 2010 -> 11:40 PM) The Tigers, Nationals and Indians swept the Pirates right before we did. If we're going to throw a parade, we better get in line. They are now almost as bad as the Orioles. O's fans might have to hold off that Anthony Rendon parade. I can't see the O's being nearly as bad as the Bucos, especially with the Bucos calling up their prospects who will have growing pains. Might be good for them in the long run to as they can stick Pedro Alvarez at 1B. They do need pitching though.

I now don't see Phil Jackson leaving after winning another title. He could retire a champion, but I just don't see him doing that.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jun 17, 2010 -> 10:56 PM) There has never been a superstar who did less to earn a title in the NBA finals than Kobe this year. He sucked. Ron Artest was the f***ing man tonight. He WANTED it more than anyone on the court on both sides. Gasol was good too as well. Vujacic's free throws were clutch as hell too. I'm sure Boston will re-sign Allen, but who knows how they will be without Tibodeau's constant break down of offenses, not to mention their age minus a couple of guys. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jun 17, 2010 -> 10:58 PM) BTW, Lebron>Kobe as a player and it really isn't that close. Agreed completely. And he still is JUST 25. Crazy... though he has been here since he was 18, but still has ALOT of good years left.

Another 20-21 year old kid comming up joing Heyward, Stanton, etc.. (though not the same caliber as a prospect, but still a very impressive looking young prospect Viciedo is) Alexei should be happy too.

I hate LeBron as an immature, classless prick/person, but you have to love what he does as a player. Just a joy to watch on the court. HA SUCK IT BOSTON! :headbang Ugh.... Kobe with 5 rings now.

Wow Rondo puts up a clutch/lucky three pointer, then makes a mistake by not fouling Kobe wasting valuable seconds off the clock. Kobe is not Ray Allen at the line. I understand trying to go for the steal, but not when your down 2 with 16 seconds left.
