WHITE SOX WINNER!!
Like I said before... won't get excited yet crushing sorry NL teams. But I will say this.. we somehow only lose 1 or 2 games (don't know about Strasburg) this stretch, I MIGHT have some eyes peaked on us again when we get back to the AL teams to see how we do.

6/16 Games
QUOTE (bighurt4life @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 05:27 PM) Christian Marrero is a BB machine. He's got 41 bb's this year to 40 k's, He has never walked a lot in his career but this season his percentages have gone through the roof. I said it weeks ago, if that guy ever hit for a higher average, he would have been in AAA a while ago. Gilmore continues to hit. I believe he has what.. a 13 or 14 game hitting streak now?

I need help with my Carmex situation.
QUOTE (T R U @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 12:33 PM) geez drunk at 10:27? Thats a little early for drunk posts Not to mention perfect spelling. I would probably butcher the word situation. Hell I had to go back over that word right now and I'm sober. Then again... Steven did put "Carmex" instead of "Carmax" which I thought was funny.

2010 MLB Catch-All Thread
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 16, 2010 -> 01:42 AM) I'm thinking Jeremy Hellickson or Desmond Jennings. Maybe even both. Jennings is blocked. He would have been up a LONG time ago. (probably even last year) Hellickson is a good candidate. I would put a couple of young relievers ahead that most probably won't know, but if I had to choose a position player or starting pitcher... I'll say either Logan Morrison or Brett Wallace (only if Toronto falls out of it.. guys like Chapman have to get his s*** together for a while) possibly Jarrod Parker as far as September as the D-Backs well.... suck.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 15, 2010 -> 12:26 PM) I can live with the Ks if he can provide the OBP/power. Danks, however, looks like a best-case scenario for him would be making a run at Chicago in 2012. This year has really set him back. OBP is still higher (I believe by 100 points) over his batting average (not to mention STILL four points higher than Viciedo's OBP) I'm in complete agreement and he can take a walk. Hopefully he has a great month. I don't think some sox fans know what it will be like to actually have a OBP/OPS catcher (if all goes right) in your lineup.

2010-2011 NHL thread
I would think trading a guy like Sharp or Versteeg/Byfuglien could net you a good goalie if it came to that. I'm torn on these guys though. I love Byfuglien, and would hate to see him go (even the other guys not to mention might be bad as far as merchandise sales.. I see alot of Sharp/Byfuglien jerseys here) Maple Leafs and Blue Jackets love Sharp (though they're will be more teams like Vancouver, San Jose, etc..) Edmonton likes Versteeg and the Devils like Campbell. (which would be heaven if the Hawks can move him/waive his no trade, though he is a good player.. just overpaid) Gonna be quite the interesting summer that's for sure.

Might be a good year for the UCLA program if all holds right. Their softball team already won the NCAA woman's title. Seems ever since the legend passed away, their program has that inspiring edge.

Just gonna let this NL thing ride out here. If we can't take at least 2/3 from the Pirates, then noone can't take the sox seriously..... once again.
