  1. Miguel Tejada Jr is interesting. It was mentioned he’s not in the top 50 of international prospects, but he’s 15 years old. If he takes $300,000 put him in the system.
  2. Blake Swihart still a catcher, or relegated to utility? Looks like the BoSox are ready to deal him.
  3. Omar Vizquel and Aaron Rowand as bench coach
  4. Probably, but I almost wonder if some young replacements rejuvenate the team. Baseball is great, but odd in that what you expect on paper often ends up being the opposite.
  5. Walker may or may not have been BPA, but the scout rankings supposedly supported that he was. Take the good with the bad. If this shows to be a less than ideal pick, but held true to the system of selecting, then so be it. From top to bottom of the drafting philosophy, it will be a net benefit. Walker represents a commitment to the strategy.
  6. 104 Guangorena, Kameron St. John Bosco HS (CA) C L/R HS SR 6' 0 180lbs DOB: 10/16/99 Random search from the undrafted, but might be a nice option.
  7. https://www.sbnation.com/mlb/2018/6/5/17411486/mlb-draft-2018-grades Weird analysis for Madrigal lol
  8. Is it me or do all the Cubs picks look like underslots?
  9. Smart to grab them both, Kowar may be better once he fills out
  10. https://theloopsports.com/2018/06/04/white-sox-scouting-report-joey-bart/ I still take Madrigal unless Mize surprisingly falls, but it would be interesting if Bart is there at 4. I wouldn’t be mad if that was the selection.
  11. That’s the genius behind it
  12. Isn’t Singer projected to be a #3 starter? I realize the other options are not without their criticisms, but taking a pitcher at number 4 with the first thing said about him is his quick availability to get to the majors doesn’t seem like a great choice. I like Madigral to complement our upcoming mashers. If he isn’t available or our guy, I’d still like to take a position player. We have #3 guys in our system, and I think we can add similar upside guys at lower rounds. Singer may be a “safe” pick, but I don’t like it. If they do it, I’ll root him on.
  13. Definitely stupid, but upping your red blood cell count and increasingly your oxygen flow doesn’t sound like that big of a red flag. There’s danger in any rebalancing of what your body produces naturally, but... In any case, I respect his ownership for what he did. I’ll welcome him back when his time served is completed.
  14. Agreed, there doesn’t appear to be anything there that would show negligence.
  15. They should start requiring knee pads, helmets, and Kevlar for all defensive players unless they opt out with a signed waiver.
  16. It's best to wait and see your needs but player availability, matched with being a good fit sometimes doesn't setup ideally. I wouldn't be up set if they signed Moustakas.
