QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 8, 2008 -> 11:47 AM) 3. Find local muff. That's easier than a shooting fish in a barrel in Carbondale.

QUOTE (Cknolls @ Apr 24, 2008 -> 03:05 PM) Move to Illinois, we'll elect you in a heartbeat. Haha, God if that isn't the truth I Don't know what is

I'm going to have to also go with Minnesota fans. I have relatives from the state of 10,000 lakes and their knowledge (or lack there of) amazes me. I've just always had a vendetta against the Twins though, so that played a huge factor in my decision. Other than Minnesota I'd have to go with Boston. Does anyone remember the game a couple of years ago when you could hear the swearing at the Sox players through Farmer and Rooney's mic during the game? They have very little class.

Got to be the beast. My God, I tried that for the first time this year and had the beer s***s for 3 days straight

White Sox-Tigers Brawl 2000 was far andaway this most ridiculous one I have evr seen the Sox in. I remember thats when my hatred for Robert Fick began to grow.

Primetime was one of the few programs I actually watched regularly on ESPN. Now I have nothing to look forward to on Sunday nights

That announcing crew was nothing but horse sh%&. God, I'm glad thats over. and then they interview that poor kid who just lost his dad absolute garbage by ESPN -
My roomates girl friend walked in on me in bathroom completely naked. Needless to say I was really embarrassed.
-
GO SOX, hope they bring us a winner.
-
Sill in. Always will be, but I don't have the same feeling I had last year. There seems to be something missing
-
Lets Go Sox, sadly I'm unable to watch my first game in a while because I'm attending my first year of college in southern Illinois. But I'm still representing the White Sox proudly.

Lets keep it up

Yeah Baby Yeah. Time to get our mojo back from doctor Evil Seriously, lets win this thing -
QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 07:12 PM) This won't spread much past Damascus if it even gets that far. Although the fighting in Lebanon intensifies, the situation is stabilizing itself. Syria is making it clear that it wants no part in this mess - and without fighting spreading to Syria, Iran won't jump in. The stunning part about this is, how even in the region, states around the world seem to be recoiling in horror at both sides. Hezbollah for trying to provoke a wider war, and Israel for destroying a nascent democracy. I hope your right Rex

Sorry to stray from the topic, but does anyone else get the feeling that this could possibly be the start of a major war. I'm afraid of even the idea of something like war, however I can't seem to shake it from my mind. I hope this can be solved peacefully, but I really starting to have my doubts.

The Official, "What I did today thread"

Today I went to go see the Fire play FC Dallas at Toyota Park. That stadium is really something. Not a bad seat in the house. It was hot and the sweat poured down my face like rain falling from the sky. And on top of the that the Fire blew the game by allowing two goals in a span of six minutes. After the game I jumped into the pool and cooled off. All in all it was a good day -
The Cubs really need to re-tool that pitching staff ASAP. I don't know how Cub fans can deal with the same bulls*** year in and year out.

QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 04:10 AM) Enter the SoxTalk Bitter bitter everywhere, and not a ray of light For nothing on our team appears to be right Mark Buehrle's pitching from a slump Garcia can't-won't-gas over the 90 hump Vazquez' fragile mind gives us unrest While Contreras is facing a test To determine if he's with the best Although right now -- that's Garland?! Fifty seven wins -- that's all we've to give? My oh my, why does Politte have to live? If now we had to wish a wish, It be a point o era on the dish, But while we slump, we grump and groan And ask for Philly on the phone And Minaya of the Mets, as well To see what sweetness he's to tell And lest we die, he should take Our starters, before we break And as we lay down to sleep Pray the Mets Freddy to keep And if you call Buehrle an Ace There will be blood upon your face Hush little optimists, the season's through There won't be, a Series II Our pitching can be forkballed, it's done To hell with the idea, of one bad run Exit, Calm! Enter, SoxTalk! Take my hand Lost in "We Suck Land" Exit, Calm! Enter, SoxTalk! Take my hand, Lost in "We Suck Land!" Something's wrong, Slap the gong Bring back, Takatsu Something's odd, Rid of Pod, We miss Carlos Lee Something sucks, It's our rut, No one ever slumps Exit, Calm! Enter, SoxTalk! Take my hand Lost in "We Suck Land" Wow, I'd say that pretty much sums it up
