I see our offense is still M.I.A.

yes, I agree, those have been some positives as of late, however 4 of the 6 are pitchers which of course we need to be trending up, but the offense is still pretty poor. We need this offense to wake up and go on a run, but to my previous post....nothing this season has shown us that might happen anytime soon.

Love the analysis, so much of it rings true and what really get's me is that IF that's the direction they chose to go (give up trying for HR's etc.) how can you expect to win by hitting singles with such SLOW players???? Like ok this is your strategy, then you have to get different players....fast, singles hitting players. I don't think you can change a teams hitting approach if those hitters can't do/aren't talented enough to take on that approach. Lack of speed and lack of plate discipline....we all knew we had this, why can't the coaching staff?
