I don't want to trade Konerko. We need him, i'm sorry. He's got a good glove at 1B and he's a consistant bat in the lineup.

The only problem with your plan is that the jobs that get created pay less then the jobs that are going overseas. When the only jobs people are able to get pay 7 dollars or less an hour then no one is going to be able to invest in anything or spend any money. I'm sorry but i'm not comfortable having people ship all of the jobs we have no overseas on the chance that we "might" create more jobs somewhere else.

Well I think that your also forgetting that Jamie Burke plays multiple positions himself. He can play RF, 3B, 1B and those are just the positions he has played this year. However I don't want Sandy as a backup catcher next season. He's too old and in my opinion Jamie does a much better job at handling the rookie pitchers.

Adkins does have talent. I don't see him as a setup man next season. However I could see him as the 6th, 7th inning guy.
