  1. He only has one pitch and was bad in the chances he had to close. I wouldn't do it.
  2. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 15, 2011 -> 09:15 PM) HEY, DICK SUCH! Dick's such a dick for saying ethan is a f**get for not wanting to touch charlie sheen's goddesses harry butts, ethan then said the only way he would comply is if gene let him in the krapper beforehand to relieve himself of seaman, i personally wouldn't go near them if i were gene, because the mere sight of those two, and your dick burns. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I would just like to state that i found it silly that a word that is not even technically a word gets censored. Gimme a break. Leaf**e? That's downright paranoia. What if i just wanted to have a nice laid back conversation about some foliage? I couldn't without having it censored for zero reason. It's not even you guys, there is just a flaw in the system. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dudes name is ''A Dick''. http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/p...id=dick--001a-- http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/p...id=f**get001eth http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/p...id=butts-001har http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/k/krappge01.shtml This lucky bastard goes by ''seaman''. http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/p...id=seaman001--- http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/b/burnsdi01.shtml ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is a couple for laughs. 2011 TV Thread

About three weeks ago myself and a few friends went to the filming location of shameless. We saw kevin's house, the jackson's (joan cusack), and the gallagher's house. There are only a few houses past the gallagher's and then there is a dead end. Right next to the dead end, on joan cusack's side of the street, is the park that debbie has been at. Right outside the gallagher's was a limo, but not just any limo, it was the longest limo i have ever seen in my life. Ideally it would have been nice to see kash's convenience along with the bar, but both are in california on warner bros back lot. http://filming.90210locations.info/tv-locations/shameless/
  4. There is a movie from 2009 called frequently asked questions about time travel. I found it surprisingly enjoyable despite the fact anna faris is in it. Anna faris is in it minimally, so don't let her scare you off, if she was about to.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Mar 1, 2011 -> 05:10 PM) Anyone ever see The Lives of Others? I just got done watching it, and I think it's one of my favorite movies ever. Top 20 for sure. Yes, i had been wanting to get to it ever since kalapse asked if i had seen it. I ended up seeing it several months back, and i would agree that it was an extremely well done piece of cinema. But once more, some people just can't handle subtitles, and they miss out on excellence. I read some forums after i saw the film (as i always do), and that was good for a laugh or several. The political views on imdb are always gold. Hell, just about anyplace in reality. About four years ago i was reading a thread there in which a japanese girl claimed to be 5'3 and 78 pounds. She was going on and on about how anyone over 92 pounds is obese and not worthy of living. Americans disgusted her to no end. I read over 20 pages worth of arguments that occurred after that. Why? She believed what she was saying 100%, with absolutely zero intention of trolling. I was looking at a pretty obscure tv series when i came across her, and for the life of me i can't recall what it was, which is what annoys me, because i almost don't believe what i read was real. Btw, has anyone seen tucker & dale vs evil by chance?
  8. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 04:54 PM) Lol, you've tried to be "mean"? What does that even mean? Like, you tried to be an asshole about it in hopes I would stop saying it or something? As if like reading it every once in a while just ruins your day? I'm no fan of "stealth elf", yet I don't b**** about it. It's amazing how I can ignore things like that I guess.... What a way to return the favor. You call me an asshole right after i nominated you for poster of the year. Lighten up tiger.
  9. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Feb 28, 2011 -> 04:09 PM) Oh come on! I'm not trying to be mean, but "Hot Fire" is the worst nickname I've ever heard. And I mean the worst. I have tried to be ''mean''... but nothing works on him. Hard headed people don't budge for a reason... they are hard headed.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Feb 11, 2011 -> 02:18 PM) As was already mentioned, Cam is incredibly flamboyant and so was Jack. I'm pretty sure they both won awards. Every single character in Milk was extremely effeminate. I've seen videos of Harvey Milk, and he didn't seem quite as (I guess) expressive in his motions as Sean Penn played him. PSH in Capote was also very effeminate, but these last two were based on real people, so who knows. Murder by death...is capote's only real role and it just so happens to be a pretty damn good film. This is a gag a minute type of film, and amusement should be found by most that watch it... regardless of age. The more knowledge one has on film and literary detectives... all the more enjoyable the experience should be. Murder by death really seems like it would be up the alley of flasoxx now that i think of it... Brw, it truly has a terrific cast, along with performances to back it up.
  19. QUOTE (Jerksticks @ Feb 13, 2011 -> 05:46 PM) Love the picture of pinched pennies and the fact that it's 50% of original size. Just curious, what did you search for to grab that pick? And is anybody in Austin or what? To my surprise if you type in joemancool24 it's the first result in google images. Penny pincher...
  20. So essentially you are saying if someone does not watch one game out of 162 from their provider/source they are fools. That's just inane. So, joe, when you end up missing one game this season... and remember just one, you will be a fool just like the rest of the world. Hell, you better not even miss a pitch, think about it, in the long run you will be missing out on 1/12th of a penny.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 2, 2011 -> 09:31 AM) Same here. I actually had tears in my eyes at the end. I've never cried reading a book before that. On another note, watched Enter the Void last night in bed on Netflix streaming during our power outage. Fascinating film. You easily have the best taste in movies out of the usual suspects in the film thread. Clearly i don't always agree, but we have eerily similar likes and dislikes. I can't recall your take on terminator salvation, but it's doubtful you think it is a masterpiece of epic proportions like someone else...

    2011 Films Thread

Complaining about a superheroes powers/skill set is easily one of the dumbest things i have ever read. I agree with with flasoxx entirely, if you can extend belief far enough in the first place to read/watch them... everything is... and should be just fair game. Except for squirrel girl of course... squirrel girl has full 7's across the board. She seemingly can't lose. She is a constant on running joke of the comic world. Consistencies are a problem? Well if a character stayed exactly the same for 70 plus years, with zero to minimal changes, it would simply get stale, hence interest would drop along with sales. It's a business, and people want to be entertained, and doing so with monotonous tendencies will not do the trick.
