Anyone watch Raw tonight? I didn't but reading the results, sounds like a set-up for Hart/HBK at WM? That would be about the most epic thing ever done.

Per TSN White Sox have #3 rotation in MLB
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Dec 23, 2009 -> 04:21 AM) Only 4 years in the AL. 3 of those in The Cell. Why do you attempt to justify that with an "only"? That's a big sample size.

Per TSN White Sox have #3 rotation in MLB
Javier Vazquez has one season in the AL where he put up a sub 4.6 ERA (2007, shocker). Petite hasn't had a sub 4 season since 2005 (2002 in the AL). Burnett since 2007. I know ERA isn't close to everything for a pitcher, but I think it's very safe to say our top 3 guys will hover around 3.50 or lower with Mark not too far behind. Sorry, but that's still very effective and I'm not sure where the love is for the Yankees rotation is over ours, except for the 5 spot. Unless some here believe Peavy will drop off the earth with the change of leagues.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Dec 22, 2009 -> 08:01 AM) I just got back and I can honestly say I didn't really like it. Now the visuals are absolutely incredible and I think they could revolutionize movies going forward. However, the movie itself was hampered by an extremely mediocre plot, terrible love story and horrible dialogue. Plus, quite frankly I thought while the world Cameron created was amazing to look at, the story was really boring to follow (and very predictable). For me I almost have to give the movie two grades, the visuals are an A+ and really worth the price of admission alone. The story, dialogue, etc. I would give a C.

Darren Oliver?
If he's cheap enough, there's no reason not too. It's not like Thorton serves as a specialist anyways, and could provide some flexibility with the closer role.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Dec 20, 2009 -> 08:11 PM) I haven't seen it yet, but I heard it is actually a pretty boring movie. True? Yeah. I was expecting a lot more action. The last 30 or so minutes is pretty badass though.

Mark Buehrle is #26 on Rob Neyer's top 100 players of the decade
He was just saying they played for us. Sox may not not be the first thing into people's minds for a few of those guys, and also, don't forget Colon had a pretty decent 2003 for us.

Corey Koskie: Better than Jermain Dye (and Paul Konerko)

If Illinois State is anything close to a good team than a loss to Niagara at home is a bad loss.

QUOTE (kev211 @ Dec 13, 2009 -> 10:06 PM) Ya one of the better mid-majors in the nation. They were 6-4 coming in with losses to Buffalo, Akron, Auburn, and Austin Peay. Mid-majors must be pretty terrible this year.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 9, 2009 -> 02:49 PM) Is this Scott Powers? Get out of here with that 5th best nonsense. That was a very solid Vandy team that was clearly not in the same league as Illinois. The game was really never in doubt (save a 2nd half run to get it down to 7). Illinois was able to get basically any shot it wanted on offense. Still too many lazy passes and careless turnovers, and the defense is just not what fans of Illinois/Weber are used too, but a win is a win. If we can somehow pull out wins against georgia, missouri, and gonzaga, I think the two horrible losses to utah and bradley will be forgotten. 1. ISU 2. Northwestern 3. SIU 4. Bradley 5. Illinois.
