After basically every game going wrong today, I'm actually pleased with this matchup. I would've preferred Houston or Toronto/Buffalo but this is better than Cleveland, Minnesota, and New York.
I hope they look into having the same umpiring crew for 11 of 14 games is not a good idea. I get this season was different, but still that's absolute garbage. We could've gone 1-3 vs Minnesota but probably benefited more from bad calls.
I didn't see it but my buddy is a Twins fan and said that Gonzalez struck out, Minnesota challenged a balk and won it. So the runner at third scored instead of it being strike 3 and inning over.
It's not going to matter but isn't that such a Minnesota Twins way to score a run? Runner on third, 2 outs, Gonzalez struck out looking. They appealed that Gray balked and the ump called it after a review. 1-0.
I'm more concerned about other games than I am this one. I'd rather have Toronto win and New York lose than any other game in the AL Central. Probably more intersested in the Cleveland game than I am the Minnesota game if I'm being honest.
