Do you mean being next on the injury chopping block? Because yeah that can definitely happen since he's not durable as an every day player. But with all our injuries and being able to play multiple positions, no way he's leaving this team.

I am so damn tired of Minnesota. For nearly 20 years they've been some weird curse on the White Sox. That damn Metrodome had so many fluky things happen. But what gets me pissed off most is this catering to them over the years. Ozzie's comments were always positive, Tony now basically defending them for being crybabies about a guy swinging at 3-0 pitch from a non pitcher. Seriously what's more of a mockery to this sport? A guy swinging at a 3-0 pitch up by 11? A team getting pissed because about a 3-0 homer while backup utility player is pitching at the same speed as a 9 year old? Then throwing at Mercedes the next night. Or our old manager chiming in and basically throwing Mercedes under the bus and being sympathetic/agreeing with the Twins. I'm pretty certain Mercedes 3-0 swing is the least of the problem in this whole ordeal.

100% agree with getting rid of this abomination. I understood during a 60 game sprint but we're back to a full schedule season. This is such a dumb rule. Heck when I played slow pitch softball I thought it was a dumb rule then. Never could've imagined the top level of the sport implementing this rule, but here we are.

Pac 12 must play with 75 foot base paths because I have no clue how he could be graded that high. I hope he can get it together defensively because that's what we really need. As a 9th hitter I'm fine with the lack of power and incredible contact, but we need that speed and defense that was advertised.

My buddy is a Twins fan, I bet him $100 that Donaldson doesn't play 400 games for Minnesota in 4 seasons. Obviously had a nice benefit of a 60 game schedule after the fact but I'm not sure he even plays 300 for Minnesota.

Yeah I was talking about starts, which is why in a later post I said I hope he's not getting 400 at bats this season haha.

This is the big one in my opinion. I'd say it's nearly improbable that Moncada, Madrigal, and Jimenez stay off the IL this year just based on previous seasons. It's nice having a super utility sub who hopefully doesn't have to have 400 at bats this season.

Is it just me or does Luery seem like a Tony La Russa type player? I haven't heard much about him this offseason but I have a feeling he'll be playing (as long as he's healthy) much more than most of us anticipate. And if he produces I don't mind him being the super utility guy but I'm guessing he could be playing 100-120 games. Obviously it depends on team injuries though.
