southsideirish71 replied to Jose Abreu's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Meanwhile I will hear the word fuck being screamed by pitcher after pitcher, watch a Madbum start for instance. And nothing. That's live on tv for everyone to hear. Not something barked that only a few heard. -

Beckham looks like a freshman HS shortstop in his footwork and glove presence. He used to be a lot better at being a fielder. -

That's not mental. He has run in his fastball. He just needs to either target better and let the ball dance or finish the arm rotation to get into proper release. -

Bunting is stupid. Carson keeps missing arm side. -

Throwing high when a person bunts is great. Missing slightly arm side is okay as well. When you get to two strikes missing arm side up and in is just being lazy on your finish. -

Or they can have both protective ears on their helmets. I know its more comfortable and lighter but in the end you only wear the damn thing a small amount of time in the game. -

This franchise has the audacity to get upset at someone showing emotion after having Ventura on the mound for a while. I mean seriously. -
Tall and fall.

They dont believe in developing defense in the minors nor the majors. They dont believe in technology. Its a beer league team waiting for the geezers to fall off. -

When he is throwing 92 with a new cutter and zero curveball you will know Coops work has been done. Years of fathom talking about missing velocity when our prospects get here is founded in reality. Sure Buerhle threw 89 but his cutter also moved a foot. Not everyone is cookie cutter. If that was the case every right hander learning a cutter would be Mariano Rivera. -

Its time for Coop and his ancient bag of tricks to go. People he has "fixed" have been retired for some time now. -

What other teams tell their pitching staff to drop velocity, give up on your breaking pitches, and hope for the best. -

Its 4 games into the season. Really?

A grand jury came back with 16 counts. Who cares what random sites you visit say. This is on an activist SAO who recused herself yet found a way to drop the charges. Kim Foxx is the only reason that this was dropped.

Your analysis is beyond flawed. Sometimes players take the most money offered. If the Gary Railcats offered 300 million dollar contracts my guess is that their lineup would be a lot better than it is today regardless.

He looks like John Kruk at 3rd base. Just hope Moncada stays at 3rd base.

Mlb experimenting with rule changes in independent league
southsideirish71 replied to Dominikk85's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Well, people think that this will help to catch up to the ever-rising velocity. The side take on this is with all of the pitch design work and movement focus it will give that 95 mph two-seamer another two feet to work as well. Sliders will get more room to break as well. 2 extra feet works both ways.
