My opinion: Sox need to make another megadeal
Loyal fans are fans on the front of the jersey not the back of it. I have seen players that I have liked come and go. I don't however root for the players when they play against the sox. You on the other hand cheer home runs by opposing ex-white sox players when they hit them against the sox.

Home Sweet Home: White Sox vs Marlins 7:10 CT (Nova vs Richards)
I am shocked you are posting here. I figured you were signing up for Raystalk to worship Avi. If Abreu finds another team maybe you can worship him there as well.

Free Agency - How confident are you?
If we learned our lesson of do not negotiate through the media we might have a shot at getting someone decent. If we see Nightingale leaks and other nonsense in the Winter we might be hosed. If we also use our failed econ 101 of actual dollars versus magical perceived future dollars that we did with Manny we might not be in a good spot to land anyone decent. Reinsdorf-future-bucks are as valuable as lead.

First Player to Ever Steal First Base...
This might be the dumbest rule in a long time. Lets award a batter for just showing up.

Job Thread
We have millennial's at my job who decided on their own to work from home because they wanted to. Their position is a work at the central office position downtown Chicago, not remote. The owner of the company comes in, doesnt see them at work and sends out a note hey you have a desk job. They come in the following week. They show up at 10am, then leave at 2pm. Then ghost it again after a few months. Then one of them rage quits because they didnt feel comfortable coming downtown to work. I work anywhere from 50 to 70 hours a week typically. I get to work from home at times but I also work in them middle of the night and on weekends and travel a lot. I am very well compensated and understand that this is the balance between what I make and what I provide the company. I had one a few years ago shadow me on an install. The cutover began at 8pm. At 4pm the guy gets restless and then tells me he is hungry and he has to go home to eat. Never came back. Then asked me how the cutover went the next day. We had one show up to a customer unbathed and wearing shorts and a ripped up shirt. Sometimes its not just businesses being dicks and requiring structure its also the employees doing their part not to rock the boat and fuck it up for everyone. I had work at home cancelled at a company before because the person who was working from home ignored calls all day and then called from his cell phone and you can hear announcements from the local Home Depot in the background. He was building a fence at his house and not working.

If they are saying that Gio sucks based on a single start then I would suggest that they are morons who happen to be Cub fans. I doubt they know baseball.

The average fan has a limited iq and barely knows what is going on in this game. If it wasn't for the names on the back of the jerseys they would be completely lost.

I just looked at it. He finishes his pitch. His head is over his front side, his arm is decelerating on his gloveside. His back leg then swings over his hip level and then he stands up. You are looking at eyewash at the end that is not indicative of a mechanical issue.

One of my favorite this park is a dump thing. Why do they have a basket in a spot where there are zero fans that can reach over. Its not a safety thing there. There is a LED display right there.
