Compulsions and Superstitions
I think I have OCD but only regarding germs (my apartment is a total mess clutter-wise). And only other people's germs. If I cover my mouth with my hands when I sneeze, I can continue doing whatever without washing my hands. But if I shake someone's hand I need to find a bathroom or some anti-bacterial lotion quick. I don't touch bathroom door handles, and even regular door handles I use one finger placed on what my best guess is the least-touched part of the handle to open the door.

I don't think it's moved, they are replaying old seasons censored due to the writer's strike

For the new parents: Alternatives to spanking
When my sister and I used to fight in the backseat of the car my dad couldn't spank me obviously so he would just squeeze the hell out of my leg right above my knee. That hurt something fierce

Take a trip to your Business School's library and peruse their selection of books on economics. I'm sure they'll have dozens for you to choose from, so you can find one that appeals to you. Would probably make a great suppliment to your class and give you an edge up. One thing I regret from college is I didn't take advantage of all the libraries until my senior year.

I was playing $2-$3 no limit at the Wynn. The table is full except for one seat to my right. Some kid sits down and decides to buy-in for the minimum, I think it was $120. His very first hand, he raises like 3x the big blind. I have pocket Ks, so I come over the top of him with $18. An old dude across the table with a massive chip stack goes over the top of me with $30 I believe (he later told me he had pocket Js). Back to the new guy, he goes all in. I know nothing about him and I'm not laying down Kings so I go all in with almost $200. The old guy mucks, everyone else is out. We turn our cards, he's got pocket aces. I am devastated. But lucky for me a K comes out on the flop, and my opponent gets no help on the turn/river. He just puts his head down, says nothing, and leaves the table. The timing and result of this hand was unbelievable

MBA
Name recognition is definitely important depending how competitive a salary you are looking for. The offer a grad would get between say a program ranked 30 or so and a top echelon school is at least 25%.

I wiki'd it "High school student Dawn works hard at suppressing her budding sexuality by being the local chastity group's most active participant. Her task is made even more difficult by her bad boy stepbrother Ross McIntire's increasingly provocative behavior at home. A stranger to her own body, innocent Dawn discovers she has a toothed vagina when she becomes the object of violence."

QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 11, 2008 -> 11:57 PM) Anyone here have HowardTV? Like it? How does it work? New episode up every day? Thinking about subscribing. The Sybian episodes are must-see (Savanah Samson, Valentina Vaughn, Laticia Cline, Carmen Electra, Jenna, etc). There are other really good ones like Playboy evaluations, hottest chick smallest chest, strongest naked woman. But I think these good episodes are too few and far between to justify the monthly cost which I believe is around $15.

Ron Paul
QUOTE(BureauEmployee171 @ Jan 13, 2008 -> 12:25 PM) That is why Ron Paul is the guy to vote for. He understands the economy. Don't you also think Romney understands the economy? He seems to have an impressive track record in this area. MBA from your alma matter graduating top 5% of his class, head of investment firm which averaged over 100% annual rate of return on investments for 14 years, CEO of 2002 olympics turning over $300 million lack of revenue into over $100 million profit, turned $3 billion deficit in Massachusetts to over $500 million surplus in 3 years.

Soxtalk Top Ten Prospect List
Shouldn't the people who fired the West Coast scouts over this pick be somewhat responsible as well? Did the organization blindly take the Poreda recommendation and that's it? Seems like the top 50-100 potential draftees should be combed over carefully by most/all members of the scouting/managing departments so we can red flag pitchers with concerning flaws such as 'horrible mechanics' and 'no breaking ball'. The first draft pick is too important to waste.

Lafayette, IN Bars
My favorite bar is Chumley's on 3rd street in downtown Lafayette. The place is freaking awesome. There are 50 different beers on draft and over 100 more by bottle. It's a sports bar, but if you are a beer snob you have to check it out. There are three or four really massive projection screens and plenty other flat-panel tvs around. The only problem is with the narrow floorplan, room can be sparse. Two other decent bars called Knickerbocker and Lafayette Brewing Company are very close by, and there is a brand-new Holiday Inn Select less than one block away.

Konerko to the Angels?
QUOTE(103 mph screwball @ Jan 6, 2008 -> 09:31 AM) What would you expect KW to say. Yes, I'm working hard to pry away Kendrick so Detroit better swoop in a get him first? You may be right that it is BS, but anything any of the GM's say may not be entirely true. Maybe they haven't been talking but emailing? Haha I can totally see KW completing a transaction over AIM

Wii
In the end, the Wii will have a library full of innovative first-party titles that kick ass just like every Nintendo system in the past. Obviously they will be totally exclusive to the system, unlike the top games for 360/ps3. It's not like we have these three games, and that's all we're going to get forever. Is any real console gamer besides yourself going to be swayed away from purchasing a Wii because someone is developing a motion sensor for PC games? I doubt it.

Our Leadoff Hitter
That's an interesting question. You have to assume several things. Assuming Jerry got 600 ABs with an OBP of .330, SLG of .320 and a SB% of 80, I calculate he needs 96 stolen bases to bring his offensive value to around that of an average CF.
