  1. QUOTE(SnB @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 11:51 PM) i agree with you, hooters is one of the last places I'll ever go for wings. I really lie BW3's boneless wings. The hot sauce is really spicy, but has a good taste to it as well. Yep, that's the key, the sauce has to be GOOD, not just hot. A lot of places have lava temperature wings and what's the point? All you feel is the stinging pain, with no flavor.
  2. Allright here's your heads up, now get your lame asses out there and support. No excuses. http://www.suntimes.com/output/derogatis/c...tr-inton10.html http://www.intonationmusicfest.com/
  3. QUOTE(joemg311 @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 06:14 PM) Hooters has the best wings. They could be served by fat men in spedos and i would still go for the wings, but slightly less often. Are you serious? Hooters has the worst wings ever, they're poison. I've only been there twice and I'll never go again. By the way, fat men is speedos would be an upgrade compared to the cheesy trash I've seen working there. BW3 has good wings and Leona's aren't too bad either.
  4. QUOTE(bmags @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 02:55 PM) srry ???
  5. Does someone have a link to where the WS trophy is? Is it still touring around town? Where can I look at it's schedule? Thx!

  7. QUOTE(YASNY @ Mar 9, 2006 -> 11:22 AM) I've never heard the band, but their name is hilarious. ...and the singer is female.
  8. Anyone else diggin 'Morningwood' (the band)? That is a FUN ass record!
  9. QUOTE(Brian @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 11:11 PM) Sheeeeit, it ain't got nuttin' on 'Ice Ice Baby'
  10. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 07:12 PM) Ew. Game over. Canada wins. f*** Canada. Oh well, if the US beats South Africa and Canada beats Mexico, the US will still advance. I think there is a way for the U.S. to beat South Africa and still not advance to the next round. EDIT: The United States (1-1) must beat South Africa on Friday or have Mexico lose one of its remaining games to stay alive in the 16-nation tournament. If Mexico, Canada and the United States finish 2-1, the tie would be broken by fewest runs allowed per inning in competition involving only those three teams. In that case, the United States would advance if Mexico scores at least three earned runs against Canada on Thursday.
  11. QUOTE(Drew @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 07:29 PM) I like American Roots music, jazz, blues, bluegrass, old country, folk, and really good rock and roll. I particularly dig a lot of the bands coming out of Detroit in the past few years like The White Stripes, Soledad Brothers, Brendan Benson, The Come Ons, and the Detroit Cobras. And a whole bunch of other stuff that's too much of a mishmash to describe. I saw The Detroit Cobras open for Local H last year, not bad as an opener, but I wouldn't pay for their music. IIRC they played a lot of covers. Their (female) singer looks like a man in drag. Some guy in front of me kept yelling; "take your wig off!", he was really pissing off their fans.
  12. It's about time they had young people on with younger, hip ideas. So much of their comedy seems aimed at the 40+ demo. By the way, I like the dark short hair on her.
  13. QUOTE(mr_genius @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 04:51 PM) interpol = joy division ripoff lol na, interpol is alright ^^ "At least Interpol allowed like 20 years to go by before ripping Joy Division."
  14. QUOTE(bmags @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 03:31 PM) but it really is a ripoff of interpol...Fred dursts label signed these guys...which were 2 djs in LA, and when this album first came out, most of the people on the music message boards i went to thought it was a joke like a mash of interpol stuff. Its a DISGUSTING rip off. It is literally almost exact replication of how paul banks sings on antics, which is different than how he sang on TOTBL which was very reminiscent of Joy Division. BUt nonetheless that was a delightful rehashing, this is a disgusting money making ripoff of a band very popular in general but a huge following ..."underground :rolly ... shaving down anything interesting and trying to sell it as style for mass sales to 12 year old boys. When they came to mizzou i went and yelled "play Stella was a diver!" and the guy went on this f***ing ego trip and started yelling. I did my part so i left. These guys are an absolute disgrace. And their lyrics are the biggest pieces of s*** i've ever seen. Paul banks has diarrhea from his mouth about 8 times an album, these guys have it 8 times a song. I'm sorry but this band bothers me because this is the most blatant ripoff for sales i've ever seen. This is typical "all fluff, no substance" "When they came to mizzou i went and yelled "play Stella was a diver!" and the guy went on this f***ing ego trip and started yelling. I did my part so i left." LMFAO, why'd you even go to the show? At least Interpol allowed like 20 years to go by before ripping Joy Division. What's it been like 5 years since Antics came out? Nope, no love for SWR.
  15. QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 12:55 PM) Where's the Velvet Underground's mention in pioneers of rap??!!
  16. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 03:03 PM) I hate musicals, but am more or less obsessed with The Marx Bros. and their films. It's a terrible confliction I am faced with. Dude, even Spinal Tap??!!
  17. "Ozzie must have a serious problem with Munoz." Yeah he has 'no guts', remember? :headshake
  18. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 02:23 PM) Looks like Gload is gone. He has to be with the trade of Cintron. Good for Gload, let him have a shot at playing elsewhere.
  19. QUOTE(Rex Kickass @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 01:02 PM) Anyone listen to the new "She Wants Revenge" album. Anyone else find them to be a good mix of Bauhaus and Bowie influences? What I've heard sounds a lot like Interpol. It's too soon to be ripping off Interpol.
  20. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 12:49 PM) Big reason why it won best picture. Especially since she has about 10 minutes of screen time. .....and she was rolling around half naked, best part of the film. So, yeah it probably weighed as much as having Ledger and Gyllenhaal in BBM.
  21. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 11:02 AM) A bunch of us had this discussion on the train yesterday... Would Brokeback Mountian have been an oscar nominated movie if it starred a couple of cowboys who looked more like Larry "the Cable Guy" vs the two guys it did star? I bet this didn't hurt 'Crash' either: http://www.aahceleb.com/pic/jenniferesposito_004.html
  22. QUOTE(BoKnows @ Mar 7, 2006 -> 04:53 PM) Motorhead - Ace of Spades with lyrics like: "That's the way I like it baby, I don't want to live forever" how can you not like it Good choice, Motorhead RULES! One idea pounded into your thick head til you finally get it f***er.
  23. Gload is never a lock on this team it seems.
  24. QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Mar 8, 2006 -> 03:46 AM) I've torn a muscle in my quad / hamstring today after playing footy at lunch. Not the greatest feeling in the world right now let me tell you. What's footy? Soccer, rugby or footsy?
