Well, it wasn't my money and probably not that expensive, but a bowling ball. I went bowling for the 1st time when I was like 9 years old and I asked my parents for a bowling ball for my B-Day. Well, I go it.......and didn't bowl again until I was in my mid 20's.

Everything that new bands are doing has been done and they all have influences that you can directly point to and say: "They sound like a cross between this band and that band". Anyone like The Redwalls? A local band finally getting some attention. Young guys with a very mature sound, kinda soulful, kinda R and B. Check out their web site for a few free tracks you can listen to.

I'm so geeked about this summer's big concerts. I'm gonna see The Black Crowes and Tom Petty, at both Summerfest in Milwaukee and at the Tweeter Center in Tinley. Also going to Lollapalooza, 2 days in Grant Park. Also try to get into the clubs once a week for smaller shows.

I really don't understand some Sox fans sometimes. They b**** that not enough people come to the park, then they b**** because certain types of people are at the park. They b**** that the people from neighborhood don't support the team, then they b**** about possible plans to change the make up of the neighborhood. I think some Sox fans would rarther live forever in 2nd or 3rd place as long as the 'right' 15,000 people are in the seats.

I either listen at the record store's listening stations, or at the band's web site. If I like it, I look for who has it on sale. It usually comes down to Best Buy or Target if it's something popular. If not, I go to Rock Records. It's not cheap, but they can get me anything. I don't download anything.
