  1. So has And that's a White Sox Winner been replaced by hey, wattaya know, a win ,yay ? Look, major disappointment ,I know the Owner, FO, Manager, coaches, trainers, talent evaluators and players all suck, Covid sucks ,the CBA sucks, Manfred sucks, the wave sucks, life sucks. But as long as we're still in this thing , there is a slight possibility things get better. Maybe not win the World Series this year better but enough not to walk around with all this gloom and doom attitude. I mean, sure, in a ballgame where a couple runs separate teams it can go either way and not expecting things to go the Sox way is the norm , but when I see the Sox with an 8-0 lead heading into the 7th inning and I'm still seeing in the game thread " how will the Sox fuck this one up ?" that's some major Eeyore shit. Relax ,take a deep breath, you're a Sox fan , you know it's usually fucked up 90% of the time anyway. I still like a nice win. Cueto pitched masterfully, Sheets hit a 3 run bomb. (On the MLB app on my TV it said Vaughn hit the 3 run bomb in both the Recap and Condensed game highlights), Abreu has a 14 game hitting streak, Sheets has hit well since his recall, Zavala has been amazing , Gio isn't pitching bad anymore,Harrison hasn't been terrible now for quite a while, Anderson is coming around with the bat finally after his injury vacation.Eloy is healthy and at the very least he reminds us to say hello to our mothers !
  2. Playing the OF isn't easy. I saw Juan Soto in RF the other day go back to the wall , he's already there to make a catch and didn't jump and the ball went over his glove , like he didn't see it right but why, who the heck knows.
  3. nICE EVERY RUN ON 2 OUT HITS SO FAR.
  4. Giving Hahn way too much credit. There's no way he calls in game and tells TLR what to do.
  5. Robert will never be a great player. He doesn't work hard enough. Notice all the mistakes came after Tim didn't hustle into 2nd base then slipped off the base. He sets the tone.
  6. I think everyone on Soxtalk gave up. Game thread is abandoned.
  7. The ball was in his glove . It didn't move at all . I don't know what else you need to call the out. He flipped it up like any other fielder after. Just because he purposefully flipped the ball out of his glove doesn't mean it was a bobble after he rolled it to the center of the glove to flip it.
  8. Let;s go Reese you're a big dude . Hit a HR !
  9. That was not a good slider Sheets just swung through.
  10. I'll take 3 up 3 down like that.
  11. How bout 3 of them ?
  12. Tigers are hot though so not getting them at a good time . That's how the Sox swept the Giants. But maybe the return of Eloy can spark the offense.
  13. Getting Rick Hahn's help is akin to asking Dracula to run your blood drive. He'll suck you dry and not in a good way .
  14. Fast hard crash will always be a ball buster and remembered longer as a huge collapse . Lots of teams have disappointing seasons when expected to contend .
  15. Who are the lefties the Sox got who were supposed to be any good from the NL ? You can't just act like you're getting AA ball players from the NL . Sox just Sox at picking good ones.
  16. You sing ! Da doo ron-ron-ron, Da doo ron-ron !!!
  17. LOL I thought about that but I was like how do you say that? Quintuple ? Like as in a quintuple bypass heart surgery which is what this game might've given me.
