I thought I had Warden Norton on my list, but I must have made a last minute change I also voted for Plainview. I hoped he would have finished higher than an expected appearance by Anton Chugar. I liked There Will Be Blood more than No Country for Old Men, and should have won best picture.

There was a recent special on the Discovery channel about the history of beer, which was pretty interesting. The show mentioned that instead of water, the pilgrims brought barrels of beer on the journey due to the fact that it wouldnt be contaminated due to its alcohol. It was also believed that the reason the pilgrims stopped at Plymoth was because they ran out of beer.

I missed the events of 9/11. I was in high school at the time, and the only mention of it was during home room when the principal said a prayer for those who died in New York. No one had any clue what had happened at that moment. I also missed the entire run of Arrested Development while it aired on Fox.
