The thing that gets lost in the student gawking is it is incredibly impressive how public schools in places like Houston take students from many dozens of different countries, languages and cultures, assimilate them and educate them to the high level they do. US public schools do this all the time.

They'll study and then apply their studies to a field? Why doesn't America do this!

I am a tribune subscriber for their news, as a kid I would run for the sports section. They basically have sullivan and kane (she moved I think) doing double duty for all games. They have the access for after game quotes, but are so stretched thin they will be completely out of any interesting analysis or team rumors. DVS at the sun times does a better job.
