  1. We’ll good job joe
  2. Can’t tell if we just sound old lol. That said my Sox hat is 7 years old. I mostly lose them and have to replace them, so unless they hire people to steal my caps, probably the next best thing is they make tons of different limited time versions to excite me. It works in F1 way too well…stupid mclaren
  3. I mostly can’t stand it but every once in a while they nail one.
  4. *you're
  5. Absolutely wild watching a series of players trotted up to win a game one after another and it's all players that were like DFAd. And think about how all of those players are superior to Leury.
  6. Honestly it's so weird because of the streetwear drops being taken in by marketing for these brands. A snapback tied to a limited edition drop could be 50, but a classic, fitted sox will be like 35 or 32 even. Just a lot of "collector mindset" they market to now with pricing.
  7. Yeah, need at least 2 of the first four picks to be long-term, and hopefully 2 of their 4th round or later ones. That would be a very good draft. And ideally we find we have some plus starters soon.
  8. I saw an interesting TikTok today on how the mlb store is incredibly popular in S Korea and China thanks to some smart brand partnerships. The store looks completely different, kinda wild. I keep getting impressed by how dumb manfred is vs how smart some mlb strategies are. But mainly it’s probably hard to go wrong with a legacy sport nowadays.
  9. Contract the twins and white sox.
  10. remember that dodgers catcher who didn't swing all spring training and walked like 70% of the time? That needs to be Billy
  11. no teams deserve to win this game.
  12. Great job by Lamby
  13. Was at that game.
  14. Replacing Vaughn got us a runner on third with no outs in the 8th. Then our slappy boys all slapped.
  15. Billy starts at 2nd now right?
  16. man on third, no outs, sox need a run to win. Pitcher's thoughts: "First pitch I'll throw garbage low, these guys swing at everything" Sox hitters thoughts: "I'm gonna come out swinging, they will try and get ahead and won't see it coming!"
  17. just have billy steal home. Better chance with 0 outs than sox situational hitting.
  18. If slowly bringing stars back after a sprain was a novel white sox strategy I might agree, but sitting a guy who 1. just got back from a knee sprain 2. in a day game following a night game 3. when you are going to hop on a plane and travel to tomorrow's game after. If it was the middle of a home series, maybe they play him. But this is part of managing a 162 game schedule for every team.
  19. Play TA every day after he returns from injury is your solution?
  20. day game giolito always makes me nervous
  21. bmags replied to george's topic in SLaM
George love how you didn't check what color sox this site was about before posting.
  22. When Jake burger tore his Achilles for the second time he was pilloried on this board for being fat and lazy and mocked his depression. So, no, this board generally hates oft injured players.
